    New Avengers #14

New Avengers » New Avengers #14 - Fear Itself, part 1 released by Marvel on September 1, 2011.

    Short summary describing this issue.

No recent wiki edits to this page.

Fear Itself tie-in. It won't take some of the Avengers to fight the madness of Fear Itself it will take all of them!! The New Avengers and Avengers join forces in the face of true fear! And who will join the New Avengers for the?first time ever? Stay tuned, True Believer! This is a can't-miss Avengers event!

NOTE: This blurb and this cover are both quite misleading. First off, Thing is still Ben Grimm proper in the issue itself; no hammer yet. This issue actually backtracks a bit, dealing with Nazi robots still while other Fear Itself tie-ins are on to battles with "The Chosen". No crossovers with other Avengers titles, or new members either. This issue is largely just a spotlight on Mockingbird, enjoying her new lease on life.

    Super Soldier Mockingbird! 0

New Avengers #14 I AM A HUGE BOBBI MORSE FAN. That is partly why I loved this issue so much because I feel like we haven't seen anything from her in months! So I feel that this issue perfectly adjusts her to what's currently going on in the Marvel universe! Ok so bobbi has the super soldier serum in her (hence the reason she's alive now) and she feels she needs to do something to prove that her life is worth living. This isn't the only time she's nearly died. She's interviewed throughout most of...

A Super-Soldier FIghts Nazis. No, Nothing to do with Cap. 0

Brian Michael Bendis and Mike Deodato begin their Fear Itself tie-in with an issue that focuses on Mockingbird and not the character featured on the cover. The Thing, and his transformation into one of the Worthy, only tangentially has anything to do with this issue. But cover misdirection is nothing new, and this is still a well done issue in spite of it.  The nice thing about this Mockingbird-focused issue is that Mockingbird is a character who has been rather neglected by Bendis since Secret ...
