MORE JUSTICE LEAGUE 3000 (because it's long overdue -- not really!) Firestorm and the Flash join the rest of the Justice League to fight against the Coveal! Written by Keith Giffen and J.M. Dematteis with guest artwork by Raymund Bermudez and Wayne Faucher.

    The Good

This is probably the best issue so far (at least in my mind!) The realization of the JL finding out that they were basically killing their host's body with D.N.A. from the original Justice League was super crazy, but helped move this series forward and allowed small character growth. Small parts of this series you see that even super ego hero, Superman, finds that what Cadmus, The Wonder Twins, and Ariel did was morally wrong. So seeing that kind of growth in just a small amount of time is impressive and really shows that the writers are paying a great deal of attention to the JL 3000!

    Barry's blonde, YOU DON'T SAY??!?!
    Barry's blonde, YOU DON'T SAY??!?!

The introduction of Firestorm into real action was exciting. It was nice to see a powerhouse character like that go all out on a super powered villain. It gave us a briefly exciting fight with him and Kali, and allowed us to see how even though he was given life by Cadmus; Firestorm in general doesn't care about their war against the Five. That was a nice add and there were little parts in this issue like Ariel finding out that Barry is actually blonde, and her confusing the D.N.A. hair color with Wally West's red hair -- was a nice add as well a good nod to Wally.

The special guest artwork by Raymund Bermudez and Wayne Faucher was nice! It took two pages before I realized that Howard Porter wasn't the artist for this issue, and it was a nice change of pace to see what Bermudez and Faucher brought to the table. In short, their artwork was really great and it still has that futuristic strange feel, however just with a different look. Good job art team!

    The Bad

This issue was actually significantly better than the last. With the heroes finding out their true origins with erasing other people's D.N.A. it gave birth to a connection to the heroes they once was, with a turned down notch of super ego. So that was nice to see.

    The Verdict

It looks like the JL are still stuck on the prison planet for a little while longer, and what happened to Hal Jordan? Is he still alive? Gonna have to find out in the next issue as we see the state of the heroes and if they will come out on top! 5 out of 5.

P.S. for some crazy reasons the links might not actually link to MY review but the "reviews" page for that specific comic (a.k.a. the review pool). Mine is the one with the SUPER-MAN 23 handle, just saying yo. It may or may not do this.

    Dear nice reader,

?????? something tomorrow, dunno yet. Probably the stuff below, finally (cause I know you are getting tired of me putting it up on my reviews all the time and not getting around to doing it.)

However, what I DO know is that I'm working on the Amazing Spider-Man: Family Business hardcover review that was re-released recently. I'm also working on Samurai Jack #7, you might see some reviews paying respect to New 52's Deathstroke (probably every issue, 0-20, every once in a while -- like when I'm not busy doing things), my semi-promise to review everything from Batman: Eternal (60. fricken. issues.....sigh.... and issue 1 just came out....help.... me.... sooooo many things to review, hopefully!), and finally you will see a review for Son of Batman (MOVIE) in the near (near) future. So be sure to look out for those reviews and many others! But I'm 92% sure that I'm going to start "comic catch uping" with the reviews below THIS month (April, 2014).

    With love, thanks for reading/liking/disliking/commenting/ignoring,

A NO to the Guest Artwork 0

I have been reading the title since day one and found that it had a slow burn. However, as the series progressed, the story started taking shape and has become quite engaging. Part of what kept me interested was the spectacular artwork. Creating the future is not easy. I was let down by this issue with regards to the artwork. It is like when Greg Rucka and J. H. Williams III resigned from Batwoman. DON'T do that again! Thankfully the regular artists returned for the subsequent issues....
