Sha vs Feral Nova #18

Feral Nova’s eyes burned with power as her fingers began to slam against the arcade version of Street Fighter VI. Her character, Sakura, was currently getting a massive beat down from her opponent Sha’s character, Chun Li. With a crowd gathering behind them the Fire Goddess watched as Chun Li preformed her spinning bird kick followed up quickly by a Hazanshu, finishing off Sakura who screamed in pain as her body flopped lifelessly onto the ground. The hero’s jaw dropped as the crowed behind her cheered for Sha.
 
“NO!” Stephanie blurted out. “You cheated!” the poor loser exclaimed as she pointed at her friend and long time rival. “I demand a re-match!”

“Um… yeah I’m closing for lunch.” The Arcade owner spoke up from behind the crowd.

Giving a death glare towards the owner she then took in a breath, her chest puffed up with pride. “Then I demand a real fight! Winner takes all!” Even though Feral Nova had no clue what Sha would want from her. 

Wither Sha was up for the fight or not, the crowd began to cheer loudly as they all began to gather outside waiting for the two to come out and draw some blood. 

“Oh no way, the fights not going to be here! I might blow up the arcade, or even…” she looked over to her favorite cookie store not too far away. “Its too risky here… I would never be able to forgive myself if-“ she could’nt even say it, accidentally destroying her two favorite locations in the whole damn city. “LETS GO!” 

With that Feral Nova burst into her golden flames as the citizens gasped, jumping back afraid to get burned as the hero shot into the air, quickly becoming out of sight within seconds.
 

Two Minutes later…

1 hour and 35 minutes later…

 Glancing over at Nova, Sha kept her cool as she was ushering the ass whopping of a lifetime; Sha really didn’t know how to play ; but she was doing a hell of job on Nova. A small crowd began to form around the two best friends, but it was clear everyone was cheering for her. “BOOM SAH!” Sha said pumping her fist in the air. She and a total stranger began dancing around; he twirled the blonde around and they both struck a pose. “Ha, I don’t even know how to play playbox!” . Nova looked a tad bit disassapointed   but then demanded   they play again.

“I’m sorry baby but” she pointed to the owner escorting the other gamers out. Once out side the two couldn’t shake the crowd. “Well honey; I’ll see you later, I need to feed Zariah” Sha started off in the opposite directions but then she heard words that Nova never said FIRST.   “I demand a real fight! Winner takes all!” Sha stopped in her tracks and then slightly turned her head towards Nova, pushing her black leather jacket back, revealing her long sensual legs concealed by fishnets. “Are you sure this is what you want?”

The crowd erupted into cheers and jeers; Sha was playing the sexy card, which gave her an edge with a lot of the male population.   “Oh no way, the fights not going to be here! I might blow up the arcade, or even…” Sha listened closely for Nova’s words but then took note to the nearby cookie shop, and instantly sweat beads begins to form on her hair, as Nova’s fascination with cookies often gets on her nerves.

Sha placed her hands on her hips and raised her eyebrow, after a few stale moments the Feral Fire Nymph blasted off quickly, vying to leave the area. “Ok…” Sha said going in pursuit. She followed close behind the fire streak, eventually landing somewhere in Utah.  Sha waited with her hands on her hips again, watching this time as the red clay from the mountains. There was a slight chill that crept up her pantyhose, she watched from afar as the dust bellowed behind Nova.  Sha stood not to far from her, they had done a combination of these battles in the past, some for stakes others just for the hell of it, but Sha didn’t see how this impromptu battle was going to be different from the rest.

Nova hunched over and began channeling her energy to a central, part of the body; Sha could instantly feel the insane spike of energy there was just something that. “I have a feeling in my stomach, that she’s grown stronger, her energy has spiked so much since our last fight.”   After a while, a very long while; no I really mean a long while. Nova had finally charged to maximum capacity. The power she had exerted caused her body structure to change significantly.

Sha smiled; there wasn’t much she could do to combat this power.  Combining her dark and light energy together, she hunched over in a similar fashion. As she hunched over, she locked eyes with Nova, a electricity streak struck along her body finally being ignited by a golden Aura. Her already blue eyes were complemented by a bright golden hair.  The dust particles were dispersed and the ground beneath her feet quickly begins to crumble under the pressure.  Balling up her fist almost looking poessed by her own power sha smiled.

“HA!” Quickly move she teleported in front of Nova and launched a quick, and accurate Sonic Burst.

Nova’s eyes widen, almost in surprise as she watched the same golden aura surround Sha’s body. “HOLY CRAP!” She blurted out. “HER POWER LEVEL IS OVER NINE-THOUSAND!!!” She took a step back as something then clicked in her mind. “Oh wait, so is mine.” She laughed at herself, not even paying attention to what was going on. Not until she was she was suddenly face to face with Sha. "AAAHH!" The Fire Goddess yelled out in sock.
 
“HA!” With a grin on her face, a sonic burst was shot out from the Ninjan’s hand and slammed right into the Fire Goddess’ abdomen. The powerful burst forced sent Nova flying backwards, struggling to keep her feet on the ground as she skid back a ways, her back slamming into tree's and bushes, only to finally stop as her her head jerked back from the force of herself finally hitting agiasnt the wall of the canyon wall. Lowering her head for a moment she caught her breath as she looked up, a goofy grin on her face as she shook the attack off.
 
“I should have seen that coming.” She chuckled out as she rubbed her abdomen where the attack hit. Then crouching down just slightly she powered up, her aura growing just a bit as electricity could be seen flashing around her.
 
She then pushed herself forward, flying towards Sha, a gust of wind rushing up behind her as she pulled back her right fist. Once within reach the WALlie thrust her fist forward, but before it could even reach Sha, Stephanie vanished, teleporting behind her instead with her fist coming downward towards the back of her friends head as she then brought her left fist upward in a quick motion to do a quick jab to her ribs.

 Nova didn’t seem to be phased by her sonic burst; it didn’t seem quite effective like it did in other fights. “hmm, that’s not going to work” Nova quickly charged forth, causing the settled dust behind her to become restless; As she ran Forth the Ninjan Queen began to back pedal.  She didn’t need to look back as she was sure that there was nothing but dirt behind her. Every time she pushed back off the balls of her feet she flew back at least 20 feet. She brandished a smirk on her face as; she could feel the massive energy within her own body lusting to combat that of Nova’s.

Sha stopped back tracking; pushing her feet deep into the dry desert earth to stop her momentum almost put her in the line of fire, from nova’s punch.   Before She could brace herself, Nova teleported, However Sha telegraphed the shot to the back of her head, as it had been the first thing Nova had done, in nearly all of there battles. She did connect with a quick jab to the ribs, which caused the queen to grimace with pain, but still she rebounded.

Sha did a back flip and quickly rushed in forward, faking a fast and stiff knee strike towards the head; she snapped her legs out and brought it back attempting to kick Nova in the head. “For some reason, she’s much faster than she used to be”. Sha knew Nova’s speed was her advantage; she needed a way to slow her down, and keep the fight at her own pace. She continued teleporting all around Nova, sending various ki blasts at her to test her quickness, and agility. “Gotcha” she said coming out from her own after image, sending a powerful beam of energy towards Nova.   As the beam kept nova busy, she escaped into the vast and open air.

“Alright let’s see what I’m capable of” keeping her hands parallel to her bosom, she quickly began firing a volley of Ki blast. They rain down, destroying the terrain, in an attempt not to injure, Nova, but to reshape the battle field with a series of canyons a falls so she could slow down Nova’s speed.
