Artfully dodging between the crowds, Amadeus looked desperately for the homeliness of a dark alleyway. He noticed one several yards away, guarded by what appeared to be a mother and child. Adjacent to them, of all the alleys in all the world, stood a member of the Demonic Response Division. He felt the skin on his face grow tort as his true visage began to take shape. The merciful shadows stemming from the skyscrapers that birthed this metropolis gave Amadeus more time than he was normally allowed, but even they could not save him if one were to look upon him directly. Approaching the mother and child, Finn realised his face had reverted to normal; the harrowing face of the Mo'rQloth. His unnatural scarlet eyes a gift from his unholy father and the erratic, yet wholly encapsulating, scars a final goodbye from his mother. Together they formed a countenance that, though not entirely human, would never been mistaken for total normalcy. Amadeus knew that if, for even a second, a person suspected him of his true lineage, he would be mercilessly hunted by law enforcement, bounty hunters and vigilantes alike. He could not allow for that to happen.

As he approached the alley, Finn tried to cover his face with a coughing gesture, though he knew it was a foolish gambit. Finn moved his available hand to the cold steel weapon that hid beneath his suit jacket. He grasped the Beretta and prayed that another innocent's life would not be on his hands, but he had gone too far to be stopped now. The time in Hell he would receive would be worth it to clean up this purgatory, he told himself. Suddenly, the mother spoke; "Don't stare, honey, he can't help it".
Finn had been saved, not by violence, or even by luck, but by the extraordinary notion of political correctness. Leaning against the cold brick, he breathed a sigh of relief, both for his own safety and the safety of the officer standing 16 feet to his right. Finn rushed down the alley until he was sure he was alone, and reverted his entire body to his natural form. A humanoid figure, with mild bone protrusions from the wrist, the aforementioned face and the unmistakable aura of the unholy. Finn collapsed on the ground.
"I shouldn't have let that appointment run late, more fool me." His 5.30 had arrived 15 minutes late, but the patient had recently lost a child, it was not for Finn to decline service, even in the most dire of circumstance.

Finn slowly climbed to his feet, recovering enough energy to wear the mask of normalcy once more, but before he could, he heard a scuttling noise. It was either a rat, or something moving so quietly as to be thought of as a rat. The bone protrusions on Finn's wrists extended and sharpened. He waited. Silent. Still.

Suddenly, from above came the sliver of a sound. The sound of folded steel moving swiftly through the air. Finn leapt backward into the opposing wall. Inside the darkness, Finn's eyes adjusted and he could vaguely make out his opponent.

A soldier of crimson.

Once on the ground, her heels sunk in the thick mud, which made her turn her face, but she would not be deterred from the reason she came.“You know I’m here, so just come on out!” Gwen awaited her host but she got no answer.

“Gwen would you like to tell me what you’re doing down there…” a message came from her headset, from Jennifer.   “Well I want to place my full time in the BRPD, but I can’t run it while running L.O.V.E, I’m pretty sure Nova won’t do it, but this girl will; a long time ago L.O.V.E was only made of Four people, Sha, Feral Nova, AR, and Taki. I’m pretty sure Taki can lead L.O.V.E while I’m away, she’s also a known relic hunter.”

“Nice to see you speak so highly of me” Gwen turned to see the crafty Ninja with her hands on her hips. Gwen gave a smirk, but quickly getting down to business.

“L.O.V.E needs a leader, Nova won’t do it and I’m simply too old to hang with you young girls, yes or no my time is precious?”

The Ninja gave a smile and then shook her head yes, the bamboo tree’s were propelled by the wind, as they smacked each other the sound that resonated resembled a clap. Gwen handed Taki a paper with some coordinate attached. “That’s your new home, I must be going now” walking over to the spot in which she had came, she was taken by Taki’s statement.

“I’m sure your return has nothing to do with the disappearance of the Infinity Gems…” Gwen smiled before disappearing in white light.

“Not your concern, little one, not your concern.” The woman disappeared in a light leaving Taki on the ground. The Ninja glanced down at the paper, suddenly thousands of feelings were rushing back to her feelings she thought she lost. : Heading back to her hut she grabbed her travel back and started west to the Yellow River, from there she was heading to the United States. The last time Taki had been remotely close to L.O.V.E was when A.R died all those years ago.

She had returned to fight Nova for the KOV championship but she failed in doing so. Not wanting to live in the comforts of the city life again she moved back to Japan, where she honed her fighting skills and changed into a overall good person.

Her time in L.O.V.E didn’t stick though…she couldn’t trust Gwen, Taki didn’t like the fact that this one human woman had so many aliens, whom could easily be called weapons of mass destruction at her disposal….so she left.

 Presently

The Ninja sat on her couch taking a puff from her brown pipe, the weed had her eyes slurred her mood relaxed; the atmosphere of the house was tranquil. Everything she saw, she was able to see in patterns of an odd Rhythm whether it was a runny faucet, the tapping of her feet, or the smoke that she blew into rings being the same distance apart… she could see it.

It had been a while since her last mission, which she failed; so this allowed her some time to get ready for the new, whenever master Toki decided to return. No sooner than she finished her pipe the munches set in; walking to the refrigerator she opened it up to see that she had absolutely no food. “No good” she said looking into the freezer to see almost the same thing. From the corner of her eye she saw a purple glow coming from her closet; this usually meant that her sword was telling her there was a demon around.

“Finally” she said referring to the end of her boredom. Slipping on her uniform, she exited her apartment hidden deep in the forest and ran out to find this…foe. Jumping from roof top to roof top, she was eventually able to find him; thanks to his protruding bones, and the persistent blink from her weapon. Jumping down, she wasited no time in attacking two attacks that were quickly; evaded by her demonic foe; the veil of darkness covered her no more. The Underground demon hunter broke through the darkness with her blade, in hand, ducking down she tossed a series of ninja stars at him hoping to throw off his guard, quickly following behind them she attempted to slash at his right shoulder.

Before he was able to consider his agressor's motives or training any further, several ninja stars came zooming at him. He raised his right arm and caught the across his forearm. Better to lose the arm for a moment than the head for eternity, he thought. He winced in pain, but his opponent was not done yet as almost instantaneously a purple blade moved toward Amadeus. He ducked the strike, just barely.
The fluidity of this assassin's technique threw Finn off guard, he was used to fighting unintelligible behemoths. Had he known such a creature existed in this region, he might have been more careful, this was unlike anything he had ever faced.

Knowing full well he was no match for this combatant in close combat skill, Amadeus would have to rely on his innate abilities, and hopefully move the battle to an area where he could use his firearms. He was not hopeful. Rising from his prone position and leaping forward with his left arm, spikes out in full force, Amadeus attacked his opponent's centre; trying to drive his spike directly through her heart. The odds of actually hitting her were remote, Finn thought, but at least some room should open up.

She was able to connect with her stars; he had very cleverly given up his arm to block the rest of his body. Taki’s strike force ask question later attitude is what usually got her into a lot of trouble; this being was able to give up his arm without a second thought; she would have to play this fight very close. He seemed extremely aware of her strike quarters, swaying away; taking away her close combat skills played to his advantage, but unless he had a way to keep her away; and strike from afar Taki figured she could wear him down with her speed alone.

He shot his spikes out causing them to come through his skin; this motion caused Taki to jump prematurely, which allowed him to jam his weapon into her stomach. The pain was astounding, but she was able to fight through it for now.   Trying to stand on her own two feet, while her own blood gushed from the gaping hole in her stomach, Taki removed her long Rekkimaru weapon and tried to slash him across his body with the blade in her left hand; in the same motion she brought her Mekki-Maru across with her left hand hoping to infect him with liquid arsenic; that kissed the tip of her blade.

Somehow, Finn's desperate lunge had landed. Not her heart, he knew she was far too good to be struck down by such a simplistic assault. However, it was apparent that the attack's nature, bone protrusions flying toward her, had thrown the female ninja off guard. "She's not familiar with the Mor'Qloth, that's only reason she could have fallen for that, lucky for me." Finn thought to himself. Ignorance of an opponent was a horrible handicap in this sort of fight, but fortunately for the Red Ninja, Finn had no idea who she was either.

Despite the considerable wound the Ninja had received, she was not slowing down. In fact, the attack seemed to only strengthen her resolve. The woman slashed at Finn's body with a ninjatò, which he narrowly managed to avoid by jumping back, simultaneously a second sword flew by his face. He twisted his head back and left to avoid the blow, but he received a slight cut across his cheek; indistinguishable from the others that littered his countenance.

With his backward leap, Finn felt he had delivered himself sufficient room to remove his pistols. His right arm was still out of commission, so one Beretta would have to do. He quickly, to the point of it being one blurred motion of black and grey, removed his pistol and aimed at the ninja woman's face. Feeling confident, Finn suddenly fell to one knee. His pistol cradled across his knee, he looked at the ground; and the dripping pool of blood that was amassing. "What the hell, that should have healed by now. It was only a cut..." He looked at the scarlet ninja's second blade. "Oh Hell." He said. Providing the poison was not mystical in nature, Finn surmised that he would survive, but he would not be in particularly good shape for some time. Feeling woozy, the dark alley spinning around him, Finn raised his pistol, aimed at the blurred red image and pulled the trigger.
