This is a closed RPG only for the Sovereigns. Takes place in the Avalon Combat Simulator.

Cormac and Honor Girl Vs. Cassuis Slay Knightfall and Decaying Rose

Ian and Ellie sat in the control room of the combat simulator, awaiting the start of what would be one of many training days for the new team. Always one to work to a soundtrack the control room was currently filled with the sounds of Outkast's Bombs Over Baghdad while his fingers glided over the controls making the final touches for the upcoming session.

Ian - "Time for you four to put your money where your mouth is, and my money is on the ladies carrying you boys, so prove me wrong if you can. Just a reminder, you can go all out while your in there as the force fields will keep you from inadvertently hurting anyone even if it feels like it. The same field will stimulate your nerve centers to simulate the pain of whatever damage you would have done to your opponent. No pain no gain kids, so do your worst."

Ian's "pep" talk still ringing in Cass's head he prepared to show why he was so highly rated in his profession. Ian's emphasis on working as a team reminiscent of the same talks he used to get about working with the Slays. This rag tag team of Ian's had a mix of abilities and skills but they where not truly equals, unlike the assassins within the Slays who all had the same training. Cass didnt know much about his new allies but he knew one thing they didn't have the same training as him he could use this in Ian's little team exercise.

As Ian's final sentence rang out through the speakers in the simulator Cass palmed a couple smoke pellets. "...Do your worst" As the sound of Ian's voice faded away Cassius slammed both hands onto the ground causing the smoke pellets to unleash a huge cloud of smoke. Covered by the quick release of a deep grey cloud Cassius pictured his two opponents positions. Adapting his aim to allow for probable movement he fired both pistols in arc in front of him aiming at chest height. A volley of five shots from each pistol giving him five possible shots on each opponent hopefully his range was correct and his opponents weren't fast enough to get out of his target zone before the rounds tracked them down.

Sakura got a laugh out of this battle proposition of pairing these two together as a team. It fealt a bit one sided to her, the archer and recon vs the pair of assassins? Not to say the two were not good, Ian would only take the best. Maybe it was to help the sort of friendly rivalry of the two men. Whatever the case she was ready for the coming fight. "You could of sparred me, the techno fortune...that said lets get this show on the road. Honor my dear, please know I would of liked my first run with you to be side by side. This is but business, and I apologize to both you and are newest friend."

Cass put to use smoke pellets, a classic ninja and assassin trick to conceal ones self. It was perfect cover for her own move as she jumped into the air as the team member opened fire. It allowed her to spot the movements of the targets and then teleport back into the cloud of smoke. She droped into reality behind Cormac a downward swing of her katana. It was aimed to rip open the spine, litterally slit in two. The evolium metal likely to rip through any armor. It would be followed up by a slash outwards, which served the purpose of severing the leg. Sakura made attacks designed to kill, that had dropped rogue members of her own clan. It was brutal and it served to slay many foes, it didn't end there though. In a second flash of pink and jade mist and light she teleported towards the youngest member.

Katana still in the right hand a sai appeared in Decaying Rose left hand. She dropped in with a sharp punch aimed at the archers throat. The hilt of the knife helping back the punch up for greater impact. It would if connected cut off breathing and daze the 'enemy'. The fist retracting to flip the blade around for a second shot. The motion thrusting the blade itself at the womans temple, a garanteed kill to anything. For all the nice friendly tones of the samurai ultimantly she was still a warrior. A killer, and one of the fiercest hand to hand combatants arround.

Cormac listed to the brief carefully...great, he was going to fight some over-trained pompous team-mates..this will hurt. Who the hell trains this much anyways? He looked around at his opponents as they got ready to fight, He hoped his partner was at-least half decent or else he was going to be in for a lot on trouble, he grunted "Let's go" he took out his gun.

He took out his gun, charged the bullets inside and readied his energy around his body, he watched as the man slammed down the smoke pellets, he burst out laughing, diving to the side as the bullets tore though the smoke, they luckily bounced off him beacuse of the force-field, But...2 of them hit his right new, the physical force of the bullets will now keep him from moving fast for a while until the pain goes. He then growled, pointed his gun into the smoke and fired. The bullet tore through the air, he was not hoping the bullet would hit but something else..The bullet exploded in the pile of smoke. Engulfing the whole area in fire, the smoke all caught alight as he hoped this would harm his opponent. He turned his head away from the fire...

Luckily turning his head away from the fire allowed him to see his next opponent attack him, She swung her sword in a speed that was foreign to him. The speed of it was too fast, he had turned so his back was out of the way but the swords dug deep into his chest, "arrgg" He let out a bellow of pain as his chest got the feelings of being cut open. He dropped to his knee in pain as a second hit came for him, he somehow fell to the ground avoiding it before raising his gun ready to fire back...but she was gone.

"Dammit" He yelled as he swiveled back around. He took out his DeadlyFun gun and pointed it directly for his sword bearing attacker.

Taking a shot 4 pellets tore through the air aimed at her head. If they connected they had the power to blow a house up, if they hit behind her or anywhere else near her the bullets would impart the same energy, just not the physical blow of the bullets....

@cormac: Knowing that rose would most likely strike out through the smoke as well and hearing his opponent fire Cass dived attempting to roll away from the pillar of smoke. Hopefully now he could assess the damage his opening Salvo had made. His body suddenly gaining momentum mid dive, the sound of an explosion in the midst of the smoke. The force rattling through him as his internal organs vibrate with the pulse of the explosion. The shock wave striking him hard the force rippling through him as the roar of flame charged towards after it.

His back "burning" as he hit the ground his internal organs bouncing around still not quite settled back into their place. Pulling himself up and returning fire at his opponent the force field audio response started to give him feedback ( partial shell shock to liver and kidneys, muscle spasms in chest and back, Third degree burn upper back and partial burns to neck)

"Crap this gonna hurt" as the words left his mouth the pain receptor feedback finally kicked in "ARGHHH". Shouting up at Ian "You bastard, at least do it right there's a good few seconds of delay on shield device thingy" reeling as he spoke

His arms still twitching as the feedback pulsed through him, Cass narrowed his vision on his opponent and fired again his aim slightly off the first shot flying over his opponents shoulder the downed Knightfall adjusts and fires again double tap aimed at his opponents head.

Cormac turned around after firing his gun at rose, He clutched his chest with his free arm and looked at the opponent. instantly he was bombarded in the left shoulder by a bullet as his opponent pulled himself away from the explosion , his shoulder suddenly felt a burning sensation and pain, He crouched to the floor holding his shoulder with his right hand which was still holding his gun, He did not realize that his opponent had fired at him..Lucky his gun was in the way of his head and the bullets that his opponent had just fired. Both bullets flew into the gun and bounced off but the gun was knocked back forcefully onto his face giving him the feeling he had just got a broken nose. He dropped the big gun.

"LITTLE FUC*! He screamed at the man, pulled out his revolver and returned fire with the last 5 bullets his revolver had, His hand trembled as he done it beacuse of the pain, but he only needed one of the five charged bullets to be able to blow a man up, Or in this case make him feel like it.

Watching as Cormac's head snapped back under the impact of his bullet powered pistol whip Cass couldn't help but chuckle a little to himself through the grimace of teeth as the artificial pain continued to ravage his body. Dropping one of his fire arms to ground as he reeled from the impact. Spinning his revolver in his hand and firing 5 shots right back at the downed Knightfall. "This is gonna suck" the last thought going through his mind before the pain intensified. No delay between impact and feedback this time as his body burned all over. Ian's voice ringing over the Tannoy "Tweaked the feedback loop on your device Cassius" the systems audio response almost taunted him as he rolled around from the (damage) "multiple lung punctures and severely damaged aortic valve, artificial death in 5 seconds"

With his last ounce of strength under the waves of pulsating pain Cass reached for his belt pulling at one of its pockets. Fumbling frantically as his fingers started to lose any sense of touch he grabbed at what he knew to be a frag grenade pulled the pin and rolled it towards his target. Unsure if he could even muster the distance as his body fully seized "Artificial death mode activated"

Cormac watched as his bullets connected with Cass in the chest, the explosion had virtually burned his entire body and punctured his lungs as he heard the audio say death was imminent. He smiled a he crumbled to his knees in pain, He would have been so dead if this was real..He dropped his gun to the floor as his hand trembled and he bent over on all fours. All he saw was a Grenade roll underneath him. "DAMMIT" he croaked, putting his energy shield on with his last energy, The Grenade exploded underneath him sending him flying upwards into the wall, smashing his back and falling back to the ground. The Audio spoke.

"Shoulder immobile from gunshot, Chest torn open from Sakura and bleeding out , Knee damaged from Gunshot, Back in extreme pain from fall, Chest burned from explosion with 4 broken Ribs and shrapnel punctured left Lung - Pain engaging to max levels" Cormac shouted in pain as his whole body felt like he was being tortured, he growled like an animal and attempted to stand up but fell back down, Crawling on the ground he just about reached his gun, Fumbling around he loaded it with 3 bullets, charged them and looked for @decayingrose: He still had not seen Honor girl yet.

The Audio spoke. "Cormac - 5 minutes until Bleed out, unconsciousness mode then Artificial death"

Her blades bit into skin or atleast it fealt like it had. There wasn't that fraction of added weight from blood and flesh. Yet it fealt very real. Then she heard it, another gun was being drawn Sakura began to move the side. To evade the powerful blast of a quad barreled shot gun. She managed to escape the bulk of the attack, a thunderous explosion spawning from the near by wall. Despite evading alot of the attack though some of it still connected with her arm. It fealt blone apart, as if half the muscles were burned away and the bone fractured. It hurt, but it was tollerable. Her abilities pushed Sakura to fight with intestince hanging out. To jump on a leg burned almost down to the bone. To swing her blade even when her arm was barely attatched. This was a natural acustomed to fealing.

A brief firefight began between the other two opponents. Cormac seamed to take a blow of the face losing the heavy gun before shooting back. Struck with a series of bullets Cass went for a gernade "fck" being the initial word escaping Rose. Her thought was "fck is he thinking, could have coordinated." It was to late now, she teleported towards the cealing. She would of put herself infront of Cassuis but it was clear he was done. Being in the air the gernade went off blackening the tile and vanishing the smoke.

Cormac sat wounded a downed shoulder a torn open chest. Knee damaged, back pains chest burned likely with fractured ribs and a damaged lung. Even without the speakers the assassin could tell what was done. But a mission was a mission. Droping from the rafters above her sai whistled through the air aiming to pin the hand with a gun into the ground. Falling still she would grab numerous shurikan, a total of fifteen blades thrown before the swing. With momentum of the fall behind her swing she dropped to the ground. A slash capable of spliting most metals in twine came at the cowboy's throat. A decapitation of the finest precision, her arm was a ravaged thing but her abilities fought through it all.
