What tropes do you think apply to our Vine characters, teams, etc? You can put any trope for any Viner, as long as it refers the character, or at least has something to do with writing or RPGing, and as long as it's not insulting.
I'll begin with me.
- Ancient Astronauts / Human Aliens: Xantroans in Egypt, subverted however as they did not actually build the pyramids or even ordered their construction.
- Half Human Hybrid / Human Mom Nonhuman Dad: Half human, half Xantroan.
- Idiot Ball (being written as stupider than they are for the sake of plot): Happens waaay too often.
- Puberty Superpower: Averted, subverted or justified depending on your view..Xantroans usually do get their powers around the age of 15, but only because it's activated in their Rite of Passage at that age.
- Making A Splash / An Ice Person, Light The Way, Playing With Fire, Psychic Powers, Teleportation / Time Travel...etc.
- Disability Superpower: Kind of. Wando is mute, but has telepathy that can make up for it occasionally.
- Crystal Spires and Togas / Modern Mayincatec Empire: The Empire of Xantro has shades of these.
- Future Me Scares Me: Kind of the case with Supreme Wando...averted with Baron Chronos though, as Wando has yet to meet him.
Other viners and tropes.
- Crossover Cosmology: And how. In the CVU, there's the Judeo-Christian God (Sha?), Greek gods, Norse gods (LstPaladin, for instance), Aztec gods..etc.
- Julius Beethoven Da Vinci (immortals with famous aliases): Final Arrow a.k.a. the father of Merlin, among other things.
- Shock and Awe: Kurrent.
- Making A Splash: Slight, Akwa, Percy Jackson, Wando..the list goes on.
- Playing With Fire: Nova, obviously.
- Everyone Is Related: Sometimes this seems to be the case in the CVU...
- Gosh Dangit To Heck: Eclipse.
- Heel Face Revolving Door (characters that shift alignments a lot): Precise, Sha, Warsman...etc.
- You Gotta Have Blue Hair: CellPhoneGirl.
- Big Applesauce (i.e. everything interesting happens in NYC): Well..New York seems to get destroyed a lot.
- Hot Amazon: Ninjeta is ( or was) an entire planet of these :P
- Legacy Character: Nighthunter.
- Badass Normal: Again, Nighthunter.
- Bald of Evil: DaggerKlutz.
- Dragon Rider: Cly, duh.
- Chaotic Neutral: Probably quite a few, but I think it applies most to G'bandit.
- True Neutral: IIRC, The Bladed Angels were this trope, type #4.
