Your weird writing habits...

Title says it all. What weird habits do you have when it comes to doing fan fics? For me, I act out my fight scenes using my knowledge of Karate and stuff so I can get a clear picture in my mind of what everything looks like. I also act it out for both characters fighting.

I say what I'm writing out loud before I write it -- people think I'm talking to myself O_O

I often write without having an idea of what i'm gonna write. I just start and if i don't like it i either rewrite parts or start over.

I'm not sure if either of these would really qualify as weird, but I do have certain things I almost always have to do when I write. While I'm writing, I need noise. It can be music, television, or anything else. It doesn't really matter what, since most of the time I'm not paying attention to it. It's just there to provide noise. When I start proofreading, I need complete silence. I tend to read my work out loud when I'm doing my editing, so I need to be able to hear my voice clearly.
