What if Daken bonded with the Carnage symbiote?

Well there's this story that's been swriing in my mind for a time...like Daken, Wolverine's son, in his quest to kill his father, eventually bonds with Carnage, and become a real threat to the MU. Even with the combined might of Earth's mightiest heroes, they still can't beat him. Wolverine makes it his personel mission to put down his son. 
Well this is sortof my own MU where the Venom symbiot is contained in a SHIELD facility and Tony Stark is director. Though Wolverine tries to convince the heroes that the only way to stop his son is by bonding with the Venom symbiote, which is the "father" of the Carnage symbiot. Iron Man refuses to allow him access to the SHIELD facility, since they fear that he will be controled by Venom and they'll have another symbiot threat. But Wolverineis determined to reach the symbiot, saying that the Venom also has intrest in taking down the New Carnage but still Stark refuses. 
Logan eventually goes extreme and ambushes James Rhodes, making him call Stark. Then after a discussion between the two, with Iron Man disgusted with Logan's actions, Wolverine eventually attacks him, and the 2 have an epic fight with Iron MAn winnig. After explaining the gravity of the situation, Iron Man attempts to make peace with Wolveirne who reveals the reason he's doing this. Logan loves his son despite everything, and when he went to Japan, Daken's birthplace, he was aiming to become a better man. When Itsu, Daken's mother was killed, he felt that he hasnt reached his goal. This is Logan's way of reaching out to his son, since he reached a new level of power, he wants to fight fire with fire, symbolically with Venom, Carnage's father. Despite this, Stark still refuses which drives Logan to the edge and while tony was trying to help Logan up, Wolverine stabs him in the chest plate...almost killing, and proceeds to brutally slash the armor, and in a final attempt he repeats his request. Stark finaly agrees, warning him that if that something goes wrong, he will be put down. Wolverine agrees and bonds with the Venom.  
In a final epic confrontation with Carnage Daken on the Hellicarrier, and with the help of other heroes, Wolverine puts down Daken for good, giving him amnisea (again). However, im havent thought of a proper conclusion to this story, regarding Venom and Wolverine... 
 
What do u guys think? would this be a good storyline with the proper writer and artist? or is it too unoriginal since Wolverine has bonded with Venom before?
