After The thought Thor fights and Pistols
It has been months since I first started tracking this foul creature.
Loki sits beside me on the ship. Jupiter and the storm is beneath us.
“Into the eye brother, You have to go into that eye and you know what it holds”
Loki knew all to well what the eye held.
A monster that could swallow the earth. It had been tossed out of hells domain and landed on this forsaken world. Just my luck I had to track a killer to this spot. That it would go where no sane soul would go. I called Sleipnir he comes through the walls and stands beside me. Nothing bars his path.
“Are you coming Loki?” I adjusted my hat and did not wait for a response.
We made land fall before the storm. I did what I do best.
I calmed it with but a wave of my hand.
The city of Jupiter stood revealed before me.
Earth would be having a field day if they were taking pictures and seeing this.
All around the city the creature coiled itself.
It fed off the gasses and fumes on Jupiter.
I reloaded my guns, into the tunnels I went, a tall creature barred my path.
“God or not god you pay to enter city” He or she I could not tell said the words before I knocked him out and left him at the doorway. I was in no mood to play with doormen.
“Brother need I remind you that your actions reflect on our kingdom” Loki was behind me , I knew he was there, I simply chose to ignore him.
I put the large creature in the doorway and made him more comfortable. He began to stir and I waited.
“Did you have something to ask me I said” The creature looked upset so I asked him again.
“A price you mentioned a price to enter and I am a prince of the realm eternal and demand respect”
The Doorman motioned us in.
Loki laughed at me.
“Brother my dear brother always the forceful one , we must teach you tact”
Inside the gates somebody had beaten us to the being we were seeking.
He flew down the street and landed before me and Loki.
“Save me he screamed” as he ran up before us and hugged Loki and cowered behind him.
“ I will give any amount to the one that stops the women”
The savage creature had said the right words it seamed.
The creatures of this place were strong.
One strike and I was pushed down the long hallway and up to the planets surface.
Loki drew his pistols and shot our target , but it was to late.
In the seconds between seconds I had found my way back to stand before Loki and Amora had shown herself. The creature stood back up and tried to run.
I drew Thunder and fired rooting him to the spot.
Amora turned him to stone, something turned him back to flesh and blood.
Somebody else was here.
A shot rang out , I moved Loki just in time as three rounds sped past him.
I fired tracer rounds and watched them go in circles until they arced up and left our sight.
Something screamed in pain.
Not a killer round just a round to find the soul whom we looked for.
It was a creature from another dimension. They came here for food and to feed on the lost.
Kin to the creature we sought.
I loaded the rounds we prepared before we came.
“I will fire more tracers you shoot to kill” Loki loaded more tracers and I and Amora would look for the creatures.
Loki fired then cast a spell that froze the attacking populace.
The rounds went out and turned around and headed right for Amora.
The creature screamed and came into view behind her.
Huge fangs about to pounce on its prey. She moved just in time, Both Thunder and Lightning sounded off as round after round struck home. Two for the defender of evil and one for the creature we looked to bring home.
Loki grimaced at the idea that we killed our meal ticket.
I shot them again for good measure.
All around us the huge serpent stirred and coiled.
“we killed the magi that kept that thing in check”
“I loaded the rounds I wanted to use in the first place.
Walked out into the deadly environment of Jupiter and looked up at the snake.
“You going to stop or should I stop you”
The snake looked at me as if it was thinking.
I fired Thunder at his right eye.
The round went in the center. The explosion rocked the city as the serpent screamed in pain.
It turned away from us.
I took this as an answer it would play nice.
Amora healed the beast with a spell.
I let the city be hidden by the storm again.
“Odin will not be happy we killed that creature” Amora said.
“The creatures will be the upset one , Odin will not care one way or the other”
“We did our job” Said Loki.
I went back to the ship.
For the first time in ages I just wanted to go back to Asgard and ale and leave this planet and the hidden city of pirates behind us.
Sif flew us home.
I drank my ale and looked at the stars.
