Part 2

As Logan continued to trod through the dry and arid dirt of Utopia, he looked up and while at first he was dazed by the blinding sunlight, which seemed to stare directly into his eye, woking its way through his soul. Eventually, as his eye managed to get used to the light, he mangaed to make out a few people standing in the dirt. 3 distant figures, 4 if Cyclops were to be included. He wasn't happy with what he was seeing. Broad gestures were being taken on Cyclops part, though he couldn't see who he was arguing with, since he was directly in front of the man, only allowing the other man to be distinguished at all by his sharp features and broad shoulders. He eventually saw who it was and understood why Cyclops was being so hostile to the uninvited "guests". It was Nick Fury. The one and only.

Some time ago, it had been revealed that Nick Fury had taken it upon himself to go into Latveria at a certain point in time, for the sole purpose of killing the leader of the nation (albeit with less success than he had wanted) with a small task force. Logan was among the people that Fury had taken up for the job. He had personally nothing against this, if Fury hadn't had the wonderful idea of mindwiping him after the event. And if there was one thing the man called Logan couldn't stand, it was "messin' with his brain". After the secret being revealed, he found himself repeatedly stabbing a LMD (Life Model Decoy, a robot which looks exactly like a human) thinking it was Fury himself. He still felt like doing it to the man, but he had gotten over himself.

As Logan approached, Fury found himself less and less patient to deal with the arrogant and young (when compared to the vast life of Nick Fury himself) Scott Summers. Watching Logan was the only incitation that he needed to move past Cyclops like he was simply an obstacle in his path. A small one at that, Nick Fury had faced far more menacing and intimidating people in his line of work, than a misguided and ignorant punk who thought his act was doing good for the mutant race. Which it wasn't. Granted, Fury analyzed concluding his thought, that it was necessary for Summers to change his approach to leading the X-Men after everything that had happened with the Scarlet Witch, but with his current approach, Fury could see he was doing more harm than he should be. Yes, he was protecting, for the most part the mutant race from external threats, but that wasn't enough. It didn't take his experience in comradeship and war to understand that the team was breaking itself apart and it wasn't a good thing. To Cyclops they were all shoulders to be toyed with, pawns to be sent off in Battle. Or maybe they weren't. Maybe he had just absorbed himself so much in this 'act' that Scott Summers was becoming more like the character that he had created. Much like actors, in long running TV series that ended up becoming more and more like their characters in real life. They changed. They changed slowly, they changed quickly, they might not even change at all, but those that did, changed. He remembered when Cyclops was just a kid. He was just some f**king 15 year old, who couldn't look at anyone in the eye because he was a freak and had been bullied half his life. But this gave him the resolve to move forward and become someone great. Someone that ended up as a glorious leader to one of the best groups of people in the world, someone that ended up being trusted by most like him and by those that couldn't even understand his position, but could see the good in the man. Men like Reed Richards, Hank Pym, Black Panther, Steve Rogers, Tony Stark and even Nick Fury himself had all gained respect. They all could feel the greatness of the man, but now, as of late this greatness was dying. None of those outside or even inside Utopia might feel it, but Fury could and he wanted to be far away when this bomb hit the f**king ground.

But right now, he needed Logan.

As he passed, flawlessly thorough Cyclops, something the latter didn't expect, Fury directed himself at Logan.

No doubt he still remembers. Remembers. Heh, the irony.

Logan fought the urge to just punch Fury as he got closer. He really did Fight the urge. He didn't beat it though. The animal took over. His pupils grew into slits. He puffed. Much like D-Man, that drunkard. Breathing Heavily, he moved in one motion.

WHAM!

Fury was on the floor. He fell like a weight, dust rising up from the ground all around Fury, enveloping around him as if they were going to suffocate him. In the same instant two dozen S.H.I.E.L.D agents were on Utopia and they had surrounded both the X-Men.

"FURY! YOU DARE COME TO MY ISLAND AND POINT GUNS AT ME." Shouted Cyclops from behind, or in front, or somewhere. Fury couldn't really tell, his head was a would of beautiful stars, he couldn't even see straight his vision was wavering.

"Damn Adamantium" He muttered under his breath, not realising he was thinking aloud. Recovering his sentences fully, he shouted:

"FALL BACK. ALL of you! Now."

"But Sir..." A young woman, who Logan could realize as Daisy Johnson, the b*tch! Barely old enough to go get a drink, maybe not even that and she was just as shamlessly stubborn as Fury himself. All that time ago she had caused a quake in his heart which took him long to regenrate. For him anyways.

"NOW" Barked Fury.

"Sir Yessir!" As if without a thread of doubt, they all turned back around on their heels and as if as they were one organism all poured back into the the Helicopter, as quickly as they had come out. It was hard to even remember the instance, they came and went as if they were flies.
