Tachyon

I was thinking about creating marvel's version of the flash, and naming him tachyon. A black guy whose symbol is the infinite symbol(as a physics joke, because tachyons have imaginary mass and not infinite).

His suit would be blue, and his main power would be hyperspace. He would get the power by performing a graviton exiperiment inside a particle accelerator. He was hoping to study miniature black holes, but something went wrong and the gravitons ripped a hole in space time, and out came tachyon particles that merged with Leo's(that's his name) dna, giving him his powers.
