Superman/Goku Chapter 4 Flash Pain 1
History has a bad habit of repeating itself if you let it but if you come armed and are willing to try then the future can turn out better for everybody. Life is a game everybody can play in a world where money simply is a tool and the tool in the right hands can work wonders.
They trained and trained and trained some more but after so long it is simply a matter of waiting.
The great tournament arrived and fighters from all over the universe showed up they drew lots and made bets on whom would win what fight. Master Yoshi sat in the crowed unseen by most until Bulma seen him and sat beside him.
“I was wondering when you would show up” He said to her. “I have been here all along” She replied “this is not our universe as you recall” Master Yoshi smiled and looked down on the fighters all in a line on the great platform. It had been made by a god they said. A god that left the fighting to seek the stars and said one day he would return to see how they had done. The great platform the great fighting platform that few ever got the chance to stand on yet alone fight on. It was said that if you stood on the platform for no other reason then to compete you would die.
They put the fighters names on the board and it was a huge board with many names hundreds of people lined up and for the next few months the numbers would dwindle down to a hand full. Picolo showed up with Laura on his shoulders and they both registered for the tournament at the same time. Clark and Goku and Krillin as to did Diana and Chi Chi. All hoped to get the win all would fight.
The first match up was with Laura and a giant with a huge spiked club.
He stomped his feet and screamed and Laura just looked at him and smiled. Oh no thought Mr. Popo she is going to try that hug move. He told her this was not a touchy feely event they would stomp her back to the dark ages. The massive club arched over the giants head and for just a single moment you could see the sparkle of the spikes and how sharp they truly were.
Laura put one finger over her head and stopped the club. Then before she could make another move she passed out. Picolo began to panic the giant was not about to take such an affront to his might without a display of revenge and he raised the club once more to strike the downed girl before him. Picolo struck him so hard so fast that they had to rush him to the hospital and put him on the machine to keep him breathing. Laura was out of the matches she was no longer a contestant in the tournament.
“I know what your hiding said Picolo and you should have never entered the tournament”
On the stage Krillin looked at a creature that could shoot razor barbs from his hands and feet. He bowed to him and as soon as it began barbs were flying his way. Krillin dodge them and threw a shadow image to attack but the shadow image was torn apart. Just as Krillin planed and he put the creature in a lock and pinned him to the platform. He won the match when the creature tapped out.
Goku took the platform next as he looked over at his opponent and blinked. He swore he could see 10 of them but it was just one. She looked at him and she grinned an evil grin. When the match began she split into ten beings each with powers like fire and ice and wind.
Goku use blur Ki as his image appeared to come and go from space time. He was all places on the platform yet no places on the platform. They struck him with lightning and yet he went on but was in a great deal of pain. He then did a flash pain move and all on the platform fell over screaming.
The people stood up and chanted as Brainiac walked among them they did not even know they were doing it till the evil figure passed by. Clark tried to look at the figure but he seemed to be a blur, his vision had a hard time focusing on him. He calmed his mind he used his super senses and then he seen it. A peace of tech from another world another place. It made him appear to be anybody else just not a threat to anybody. You see whom you thought was the person with the least amount of threat. Most people just ignored him and walked on by or simply did not see him at all.
Clark Looked right at him and he felt the evil poor from him.
It was Picolo's turn to fight and he looked down at Luara with her feet up and eating ice cream and a pickle and he worried.
The Turtle was his opponent and he was a normal man sized one. When the match started he simply went into his shell and spun like a razor top. Laura hit him with Heat vision till he popped his head out of his shell. “Stop that Laura” Picolo was using his mind to talk to her. She stopped and two strikes later the match was over Picolo won.
Next up was Diana and she faced a large worm looking creature.
“How in the world of Hades did you get in this tournament”
When they started the large worm creature spit webbing and missed Diana but hit the judges.
They were so upset they kicked the worm thing out.
She felt cheated but it was a simple win for her.
