It was finally summer break, Celeste, Mindee, and Phoebe were celebrating it by a day at the mall. These girls are triplets, they used to be quintuples. They had two other sisters Sophie and Esme. Sophie died of using a drug called Kick that made the cuckoos powers stronger, Esme made an unknown suggestion to her telepathicly that resulted in Sophie's death. After that Esme took mental control of someone and Shot Emma while she was in her diamond form, Jean grey did put her back though.
Esme joined Xorn, he was believed to be Magneto at the time. She had feelings for him, she thought he had the same feelings for her, she was wrong. She was hurt by his rejection, so she mentally started to destroy his mind. He magnetically ripped out her ear rings and shoved them into her brain. Esme had then died in Emma Frost's arms, Emma stating, "...you turned into such a wonderful little femme fatale in the end, didn't you? I’m ever so proud of all my girls but you ... I think I’m most especially proud of you, dear." Despite this, Esme's last words to Emma were "Nothing like you." With Esme's death, the girls resolved their differences with Emma and called themselves the Three-in-One.
The girls were walking out of Victoria Secret, each of them were holding a pink bag with there right hand. The girls were very happy, come on it summer break who wouldn't be. The girls felt a mental attack, they all dropped there bags except for Celeste. Then after a few seconds it stop. "What happened" the three of them told each other.
