Re-Imagined Character Contest #1 - Superman

Welcome to the very first Re-Imagined Character Contest! For this competition, you must writer a short story of 2,500 words or less that tells a re-imagined version of a popular character/characters/team. The subject of this contest is:

Superman

When you've finished writing your story, please post it in the comments section and hide it with a spoiler tag. Also, please include a short summary of what your story will be about and if you want to include any pictures or illustrations, feel free. :)

The deadline for the contest will be January 28th, 2012 at 11:59 PM EST.

I think a good way to do this would be to post them in a Spoiler alert here so that they don't take up as much space... Just a suggestion.

Either that or make individual threads and link them here. Either should be fine.

(I'll start working on my story some time today)

It's Superman with someone else's origin story, which could of been possible depending on where a certain device was pointing. It's 941 characters in total.

@batkevin74: I think you've only posted the premise. If it's easier for you, you can just post it here in the comments and hide it in a spoiler tag. (I didn't think of that option when writing the rules, but it really does make more sense.) :)

@cosmo111687: Well 1,000 words isn't all that much, hence the premise route I did because that leaves a little to the imagination. Actually since it's only short I may try your idea, when I work out how to do the spoiler tag thingy

This is basically what would happen if Superman had not landed in Kansas, but had instead landed in Gotham around 1990 and was raised by younger parents. He becomes arrogant and self-centered

Okay, I'm gonna warn you right now. I have not censored this at all, and it is pretty filthy stuff. If you want me to censor it, then please let me know.

Ah, the premise was only meant to give readers an idea of where your story was going. The story it's self should be much longer. And I can increase the number of words, if you'd like. I just though that 1,000 words was a good number since there might be a lot of submissions. But how about 2,500?
