Punisher ducking under a katana swipe, just barely.
DEADPOOL: I can take the heat off you, Frank!

Punisher shoving the end of his pistol into Deadpool’s gut, and firing.

CAPTION: PUNISHER: Fight would be over right about now. I’d move on and leave him to hold in his stomach.
CAPTION: PUNISHER: Goddamn healers.

Deadpool looking up.
DEADPOOL: I can make this whole thing work for the best of us.
DEADPOOL: I can fake it, Frank.

Punisher looking toward Deadpool.
PUNISHER: What?
DEADPOOL: I can fake your death. Get you out of town.
DEADPOOL: Lord knows, I’M getting out. I’ve already got Weasel and a mutual friend packing their bags.

Punisher’s eyes.
PUNISHER: Why?

Deadpool smiling.
DEADPOOL: There’s a war on.
DEADPOOL: A REAL war.

Punisher shooting Deadpool in the chest.
SFX: BLAM
DEADPOOL: HRAA
PUNISHER: I’ve BEEN in a REAL war.

Deadpool looking up after falling on his back, still holding both katanas.
DEADPOOL: You don’t understand. This is all some giant vengeance thing.
DEADPOOL: It’s all about you. They’re gonna… Jesus, Frank, they’re gonna…
CAPTION: PUNISHER: This is all an act. Has to be.

Punisher.
PUNISHER: What?
CAPTION: PUNISHER: Passive-aggressive.

Deadpool getting up fast, swords rushing at Punisher.
DEADPOOL: THEY’RE GONNA BLOW US ALL TO HELL!
CAPTION: PUNISHER: But he comes at me, and I see it. Just for a second.

Punisher stepping back, Deadpool slices right past him, missing him.
DEADPOOL: It’s all tracing back to the BARS, Frank!
PUNISHER: What about them?
CAPTION: PUNIHER: His mask. A tear leaking through the eyehole.

Deadpool looking at Punisher.
DEADPOOL: They’re rigged to blow. There’s a whole invasion planned. We’re all gonna BURN.
DEADPOOL: It’s already too late. They’re doing it tonight.
DEADPOOL: The-the evacuation would be…
DEADPOOL: Impossible.

Punisher.
PUNISHER: And your plan is to fake my death.
5.4
Deadpool.
DEADPOOL: And then sneak you out. Yeah.
DEADPOOL: No one deserves this. Not even you.

Punisher’s skull symbol.
PUNISHER: One question.
PUNISHER: How much are they paying you to kill me?

Deadpool strewn out on the floor, blood leaking from his neck, and his gunshot wounds.
CAPTION: PUNISHER: And yet he didn’t fight back.

DEADPOOL: Wh-who knows… y’might beat em…
DEADPOOL: Doubt it, though.

Punisher looking back, with a live grenade in his hand.
PUNISHER: All you ever do is talk.

The grenade lands right next to Deadpool’s head.

CAPTION: PUNISHER: The bars are rigged.

Punisher at the top of a flight of stairs.
CAPTION: PUNISHER: The plasma pistols were being mass manufactured, just like the LMDs.

Punisher looking up at the flights of stairs.
CAPTION: PUNISHER: Overboss’s ramblings, something about city-wide destruction. A makeshift army.

Punisher walking up the next set of stairs.
CAPTION: PUNISHER: All because of BigBoss. All the pieces, falling together.

Underboss in his office, with Slaughter.

There are chairs and a couch or two in this long hallway, as if people would expect a long wait to go into Underboss’s office.

FOGG standing in the hallway. He looks a bit different since his last appearance in “LMDeath”. He’s got a green tuxedo and his hair’s been buzzcut. He’s got an unlit cigar in his mouth.
FOGG: Miss me, Frankie?
CAPTION: FOGG
CAPTION: PUNISHER: Except him.

Fogg breaking into sprint toward Punisher.
FOGG: BOY OH BOY, DID I MISS YOU!
CAPTION: PUNISHER: Very hard to kill.

Fogg diving toward Punisher, his legs have turned into a thick twister of mist, propelling him forward.
CAPTION: PUNISHER: Slipped my mind entirely. Idiot.

Fogg slamming into Punisher full force, the both of them are falling backward, toward the stairs.

Punisher and Fogg tumbling down the stairs together.

Punisher falling down the last stair, toward the top of the flight, Fogg floating off of him.

Punisher strewn out on the floor, he isn’t bleeding or anything though.
CAPTION: PUNISHER: Breathe.

Punisher looking up at the wall in front of him. There’s a fire extinguisher.
CAPTION: PUNISHER: Breathe.
CAPTION: PUNISHER: Wind knocked right out of me. His doing.
CAPTION: PUNISHER: Tried to take the air right out of my lungs.

Punisher on one knee, trying to get up.
CAPTION: PUNISHER: Move.

Fogg materializing behind Punisher, on the stairs above him, standing.
FOGG: Not quite done with you yet.
FOGG: Nice job, breathing me in.
CAPTION: PUNISHER: That’s right, you sadistic, smug scum. Keep talking. Give me time.

Punisher standing, albeit weakly.
CAPTION: PUNISHER: Lungs burn.
FOGG: I’ve done it before. Loads’a laughs. Separate myself just a bit, go in the lungs and really f**k em up. Brutal stuff.
CAPTION: PUNISHER: Not punctured yet.
FOGG: Didn’t do it last time outta sadistic joy, slipped my mind.
FOGG: But now that we’ve crossed that bridge, no reason to go too quick, is there?

Punisher taking a step forward, toward the fire extinguisher.
FOGG: Whatcha doin, Frankie-boy? Tryin’ ta’run?
CAPTION: PUNISHER: One more step.
FOGG: HA!

Fogg walking toward Punisher, partially there and partially not.
FOGG: You lost. Accept it, Frankie!
CAPTION: PUNISHER: Lungs. There’s a prickly feeling. Scratching in my lungs.

Punisher spraying Fogg down with the fire extinguisher.

Fogg holding out his hand, reaching for the air. The fire extinguisher’s material didn’t do well with him. He’s become fully solid, but mixed with the liquid. He’s falling apart.

Punisher pulling back his fist.

PUNISHER: GRRHK
CAPTION: PUNISHER: Fire in my chest. Not punctured yet. Struggling.

Punisher punching Fogg through the head.

Punisher feeling his side.

CAPTION: PUNISHER: Lucky idiot. Forgot all about Fogg.

Punisher looking toward the stairs.
CAPTION: PUNISHER: Remember. Remember clearly.
CAPTION: PUNISHER: Freak and Bushwacker. Freak’s more of a loner. Bushwacker’s dead—took care of that.
