RECAP: In Dark Reign, The Hood brought back The Punisher's family briefly. Frank burned them right back to death. The Hood escaped.
Shortly after, a mysterious new enemy rose, and used an LMD (Life Model Decoy - basically an android) of The Hood to distract Frank. Frank killed the LMD, and confronted the new enemy: Slaughter. AKA, Stevie Goodwin. A long dead veteran, who almost survived the siege of Valley Forge with Frank, back when he was called Captain Castle in the war.
Frank logically made his next move after killing Slaughter, tracking down the underground LMD factory that Slaughter got his LMD from. The Overboss was the manager, and Frank took him out. In his last words, The Overboss revealed that there were others connected to him. The Underboss (who runs the multiple Bars With No Name), The BigBoss (who controls all the other bosses), and The LittleBoss (AKA, The Tinkerer). Frank decided to hunt down the rest. Over a few weeks, Frank has come closer and closer to the truth.
But thanks to Toxin and Malice, Punisher finally knows where Underboss's stronghold is.

There’s a single man, with a long, white beard. He’s skinny, clearly homeless, wandering toward the patrol.
He’s about 20 feet away.
CAPTION: PUNISHER: Underboss and Overboss were in business together. They mass manufactured LMDs, and sold them to Slaughter. He tricked me, ended up kicking me when I was down. Tried to break me.

Close up on the homeless man. He’s got his hands up, and is still walking closer.
LMD GUARD: HALT!
HOMELESS MAN: Look…I didn’t sign up fer this…just wanted some heroin.
CAPTION: PUNISHER: I’ve heard all the rumors. Seen the pictures.
