Psycho Judges: Part 8
As Wieters drove his helicopter, he surveyed the city. The city he loved. The city he hated. He no longer knew anymore. Like a scorning lover it had betrayed him, but in his mind, Psycho remained ever so loyal to it. His thoughts were broken by an outburst by Harley.
"Are we there yet?!" she whined childishly.
Ivy rolled her eyes. "Almost, only about a mile. Real sorry about this Psycho, won't happen again." Psycho smiled beneath his mask. He could control the actions of others...But he couldn't control love or free will. Though when around Ivy, the darker sides of his personality often wished he had the indecency as well as the power to do so.
"It's fine...Just trying to cheer the kid up. He'll need all the motivation when the real action begins." He would have continued, but his ears caught the noise of a grapple contracting with his helicopter. As he looked to his side, he saw the man that he'd been waiting for. "Batman...Lo and behold the prodigal son." He motioned to one of his henchman to take the wheel as Batman entered the helicopter. Psycho took out his Kukri, stained with the venom of the Oleandar plant. Batman looked at Psycho with a look of rage, "Looks like Ivy;s finally found someone as radical as her." Psycho growled angrily, "I'm about as radical as you are righteous Batman. You pretend to be a man of justice, but in the end it's nothing but a disguise for your self worship...A MASK!"
Psycho swung the Kukri at Batman's neck, barely missing. Batman kneed Psycho in the stomach, stunning him. As he went in to take him down, Batman recieved a painful kick to the leg from Psycho. He then threw his head to the side of the helicopter, slamming it against it. "IF YOU WILL STAND IN THE WAY OF TRUE JUSTICE, YOU WON'T BE ALIVE TO SEE THIS CITIES TIME OF REDEMPTION!! SEE YOU AT THE WIETERS HOTEL OPENING!!" Psycho roared.
Harley pulled out her pistol, firing it at Batman and knocking him out of the helicopter. As she looked over, she saw nothing. She always found it mysterious how Batman popped in and out of situations like this. Looking back at Psycho, she had a questionable look on her face. "Wieters Hotel? Something you aint telling us?" She asked. Wieters laughed menacingly, "Just a little...Surprise for our land developer and plant murderers. Two days from now, the Revolution begins. I'll tell you more when we get back to our friend Sean."
Ivy wasn't so sure Sean would be too happy about his idea. She was perfectly confined to it, even praised the idea. But Sean was soft...Not exactly weak, but not willing to go the extra mile. They'd have to talk about it once she got back, Luthor being on life support at the moment. They finally arrived at their destination, Ivy's former home...
Meanwhile...
Sean Luthor sat in his bed awaiting the squad's return. He couldn;t help but feel a bit happy. Sure, he wasn't so sure about Psycho's tactics, and he had almost died...But Ivy's kiss was the highlight of the past few years. He couldn't help but feel pretty happy. That was, untill he turned the news to Channel 5. He stared at the screen in a mixture of shock and horror, emotions that he had never truly felt since the death of his guardian. He had allowed an innocent soul to be killed at the hands of a mindless beast. Doomsday...Was free. And he needed to stop him before he hurt anyone...Anymore...Pernamently
