Days ago, it was confirmed the new 2015 Spider-Man fanfic series would be titled 'Spider-Man Evolution.' Although the name wasn't fully explained, the series has now been confirmed to be set in the same universe as the 'X-Men: Evolution', a MARVEL TV series dating back to 2003.
The Spider-Man Evolution series will most likely feature a cameo from the members of the 'X-Men' team in one of it's early chapters, but it isn't confirmed what role they will play in the series.
The series will also feature a similar tone to X-Men Evolution, accept more comical and teenager-y.
Spider-Man Evolution will be released next year, with a new cover being developed.
