(New!) Comic Vine Fan-Fic group collection thread!

Hey there! Cappie here with a completely new version of (Prime's original) a thread that's never been created before! Since I started Marvel: Genesis (about a year ago, in 2011, around July) many groups have popped up and this might be confusing to many writers. The premise of a Fan-Fic group is basically to share a continuity, much like Marvel and DC do, it's one big universe where everything affects everyone. However, the era, or even company, can differ with each one, so it's important you choose the right one for you! (I sound like an insurance salesman don't I?) Many groups are just a re-take on companies (much like the Ultimate Marvel imprint) while others take it into the future.

Sidenote: Before anyone asks why I'm re-creating this thread. Prime's left the site and I thought it'd be easier if Poet didn't have to edit it alone. If you have a group or an accident in the workpl-- sorry. A group or an update to an existing one, make sure you @reply me and Poet or we won't get it! Thanks guys!

Genesis FF Groups

MARVEL GENESIS

Is there anything that can beat the original-- wait, this isn't White Castle. This group allows you to put your own spin on the characters that you know and love (as long as they haven't been taken already!) Don't forget, you can stick with the origin you know, or make it as wacky as Wolverine being Spider-man's wolf-hybrid grandfather who settled down with She-Hulk and had a litter of small, green, furry rat-looking things.

DC GENESIS

Just like M:G, DC: Genesis is putting your own spin on the character's you love! So, you hate Geoff Johns and what appears to be Hal's death? No problem! Make Geoff a character in the story and have him BLEEPed by Sinestro over and over again until he bleeds!

This makes it sound like Marvel Re-Imagined came first, but DC Re-Imagined actually came before Marvel Re-Imagined.

If you can post a discription sort of like what Joygirl did for Mayhem I can add it for you...or Cap can do it...I'm sure you can add something more in depth. I'll also fix that order.
