INT. Streets of New York
Thunder Woman is fighting the Silver Gargoyle. Thunder Woman is down, and has dropped the Hammer of Truth.
SILVER GARGOYLE:
At last! I can take the hammer and kill Thunder Woman with her own weapon! Then, I can achieve immortality!
Silver Gargoyle tries to lift it, but can’t, due to the worthiness enchantment. Thunder Woman gets up.
THUNDER WOMAN: that’s easier said than done!
Thunder Woman grabs the hammer.
SILVER GARGOYLE (thoughts):
This is my chance! She’s close enough for me to touch her!
Silver Gargoyle touches Thunder Woman’s face, turning her into a statute made of silver.
SILVER GARGOYLE:
I can’t believe I used to idolized her.
Silver Gargoyle flies off, remembering what happened that led her to the fight with Thunder Woman...
Vanessa Duval was a teenage girl from Paris who looked up to the heroine Thunder Woman. However, her father and best friend were killed in an Earthquake, where Thunder Woman was too late to save them. Vanessa became overwhelmed with rage and swore to kill Thunder Woman and steal her hammer to achieve immortality. Then, came the day where Vanessa could accomplish the goal.
INT. Vanessa’s room.
Vanessa is sitting on her bed. Suddenly, a woman in a green outfit and purple hair teleports in in.
VANESSA:
Who are you!?!
WOMAN:
I am Circetress. A sorceress from Themysgard.*
VANESSA:
What, an ally of Thunder Woman who has come to gloat?
CIRCETRESS:
No. I do not come as an enemy. In fact, I have brought you a gift.
Circetress takes out a small bottle with liquid in it and hands it to Vanessa.
VANESSA:
What is this?
CIRCETRESS:
Something to help you accomplish your goal of killing Thunder Woman.
Circetress then teleports away, before Vanessa can ask anything. Vanessa looks at it, and thinks about her father and best friend dying. She open the bottle and drinks it. She then suddenly gains metal skin and bat-like wings. She runs out side and learns she has super strength and has the ability to turn others into statues made of Silver. She flies off, naming herself the Silver Gargoyle, and goes to kill Thunder Woman.
INT. New York
Silver Gargoyle has landed in New York. She transforms into Vanessa Duval and gets a taxi.
15 minutes later, she is in center New York.
TAXI DRIVER:
Here’s the center of New York like you asked for.
VANESSA:
Good.
Vanessa turns into the Silver Gargoyle and turns the driver into silver.
SILVER GARGOYLE:
It shouldn’t take too long for Thunder Woman to investigate all these people turning into Silver. And that’s when I’ll strike.
Silver Gargoyle goes around New York City turning people into silver. After 30 people, she becomes annoyed that Thunder Woman has not shown up yet.
SILVER GARGOYLE:
Thunder Woman you coward! Come out here and face me!
Across town, Thunder Woman is flying. She overhears a radio report about silver statues appearing all over town.
THUNDER WOMAN:
I must get there at once.
She arrives in center New York to see the cops fighting the Silver Gargoyle.
POLICE MAN 1:
Thunder Woman, thank God! That silver woman has been turning people into metal statues! We haven’t been able to hold her.
THUNDER WOMAN:
Have no fear, I will stop her.
Thunder Woman lands in front of the Silver Gargoyle, ready to fight.
SILVER GARGOYLE:
Thunder Woman. I have been waiting for this day for months.
THUNDER WOMAN:
Have we met?
SILVER GARGOYLE:
Once. But it’s a long story. And you do not have the time for it.
Silver Gargoyle leaps at Thunder Woman, but Thunder Woman dodges it. Thunder Woman swings her hammer at Silver Gargoyle, and hits her in the gut. Silver Gargoyle flies up, with Thunder Woman following her. They fight in mid-air, until Thunder Woman is able to knock her to the ground with an energy blast. Silver Gargoyle gets up and sees a gas tank. She waits for Thunder Woman to get close enough, and causes it to explode.
Thunder Woman is down, and has dropped the Hammer of Truth.
SILVER GARGOYLE:
At last! I can take the hammer and kill Thunder Woman with her own weapon! Then, I can achieve immortality!
Silver Gargoyle tries to lift it, but can’t, due to the worthiness enchantment. Thunder Woman gets up.
THUNDER WOMAN: that’s easier said than done!
Thunder Woman grabs the hammer.
SILVER GARGOYLE (thoughts):

Silver Gargoyle touches Thunder Woman’s face, turning her into a statute made of silver.
SILVER GARGOYLE:

Thunder Woman has turned to metal. However, she falls on the ground, and the hammer hitting the ground causes her to turn into Diana Blade.
DIANA BLAKE:
I’m Diana Blake again! When my entire nuclear and molecular was altered by turning into Diana Blake, the stone spell must of also faded.
Diana Blake gets up, and hits her cane on the ground to once again become Thunder Woman. Thunder Woman flies after Silver Gargoyle.
SILVER GARGOYLE:
No! You should of been metal for another hour! How can you be flesh again?!?
THUNDER WOMAN:
You have far more problems than that right now.
Thunder Woman hits her with the Hammer of Truth, knocking her to the ground. Silver Gargoyle gets up, but Thunder Woman uses an energy blast to fuse her metal arms together, disabling her ability to turn others to metal.
Thunder Woman walks up to her.
THUNDER WOMAN:
Lights out.
Thunder Woman knocks her out with a punch.
24 Hours later.
Silver Gargoyle wakes up in a prison cell, with a guard watching her.
GUARD:
Welcome to Asylum 42.
Silver Gargoyle screams in anger.
INT. Undisclosed Location
Circetress is sitting in a chair, watching the events that transpired.
CIRCETRESS:
It does not matter. For there is more than one way to kill someone....

*Themysgard has previously been called Amagard in previous issues, though I have changed the name.
