New Amalgam Universe: Thunder Woman #4
INT. Norway Island
Diana Blake is sitting in a cave. Aliens are after her, she has lost her cane, she knows she is going to die.
DIANA (thoughts):
I can’t just sit in this cave and wait to die. There has to be a way out.
She begins looking for a way out. She walks through the cave, until finding a boulder.
DIANA (thoughts):
I wonder if I can move this.
She tries, but doesn’t come close.
DIANA (thoughts):
I can’t believe I even tried that.
She sits on the ground, until a door opens.
DIANA:
I must of accessed a secret chamber. Maybe there’s something in there I can move the boulder with.
She walks into the chamber, to find nothing but a stick.
DIANA:
Nothing but a stick. Maybe I can move the boulder just a little with it.
She grabs it, comes out with it, and tries to move the boulder. It still doesn’t move.
DIANA:
I just have to face facts. Nothing can move that boulder. Not even that “Creep” I heard about on the news.
She hits the hammer against the boulder in a fit of rage, but in a flash of light, she changes. She gets a costume, and the stick changes to a hammer.
DIANA:
What was that? The stick, it turned into a hammer! Wait, there are words on it.
The hammer reads:
Whoever holds this hammer, if she be worthy, shall posses the power of Thunder Woman!
DIANA:
Thunder Woman! I remember learning about her in school. She was one of the Amagardians. The noblest of all the Goddesses. If this is true, and I have her power...
She goes to lift the boulder.
DIANA:
It’s like picking up cardboard.
She runs out of the cave, learning about her new powers.
DIANA:
Thunder Woman had the ability to create lighting. All she had to do was hit her hammer on the ground twice. Three times will create a massive storm. Four times will stop the storm. What will once do?
She taps the hammer on the ground once, only to revert back into Diana Blake.
DIANA:
One time will revert me back into Diana Blake.
She taps her hammer ont he ground again to become Thunder Woman.
DIANA:
When spun the right way, the hammer could also create a lasso out of lighting that can make anyone tell the truth. Now, I can stop the aliens and save the Earth.
Cut to
EXT. woods
ALIEN:
I cannot find the human.
ALIEN 2:
She must not escape! She must die before she tells others of our plans.
ALIEN 3:
Look! Something is flying towards us!
Thunder Woman flies at the aliens, ready to fight.
THUNDER WOMAN:
I will give you one warning. Leave Earth, and I will show you mercy.
ALIEN 2:
The human threatens us.
ALIEN:
Attack!
The aliens begin to fire their lazers at her, but she uses her bracelets to deflect them.
THUNDER WOMAN (thoughts):
Thunder Woman’s uru bracelets can deflect anything.
ALIEN 3:
Our weapons do not work. We must go hand to hand.
The aliens start to fight her, but Thunder Woman throws her hammer at the first alien, and he is taken down. She attacks the others, until they begin to run.
ALIEN 1:
Her power is too great for us.
ALIEN 3:
And she is only a female. We do not know how strong the men of this world are. We must retreat.
The aliens begin to run to their ships, and take off back to their home planet.
THUDNER WOMAN:
I have saved the world, and no one will ever know it.
She taps her hammer on the ground, and turns back into Diana Blake.
DIANA:
I’m going to keep he hammer. I can protect the Earth as Thunder Woman!
