Lacy looks up at then night sky from the observatory on the ring.
She finds a star and wishes on it.
She holds a spark in her hands ever so tiny and then tosses it out into the void.
It goes out through the wall of the shield as if it was never there it passes moons and planets and suns and it reaches its destination many years from the day it left her hands.
A small child looks up hands held high and eyes closed.
She is praying for some sign of hope.
The hope strikes her hands and engulfs her body it changes every part of this girl from her crippled legs to her blind eye to her failing lung. It heals her it makes every single atom better then it was.
She embraces the change and she takes to the sky as the changes still continue.
Some day this girl hopes to meet with whom ever changed her but today she simply wants to save her dieing world.
When strangers help strangers even the smallest of sparks can fuel largest of heroes to save the world.
