1503 Outskirts of Madrid

" Mother, Go. I'll tell you about what happened when the time comes.......  Go!" roared Micheal as he came to the victorian two story house. Sephirime, his mother stared out the window in utter horror. Micheal, covered in gore and blood was on horseback, the horse's side knawed to the point where no hair could be seen. With her left hand she brushed the hair away from her wide open eyes.

Quickly turning on her heel Sephirime ran. She ran as fast as she could, her bare feet hitting the old oak wood. As she ran she turned a corner into a dark lit corrador only lighted by the faded sun. Before continueing on she turned left. There she was thrust into a candle lit room. The window covered,  by a heavy wollen blanket , was blocked from letting the sun in.

Even though Sephirime was going through darkness she knew what she was doing. Taking two large steps she bent over a craddle. Inside was a sleeping child. His eyes closed, his skin soothy, and his breathing calm. Wrapping her arms around his back she pulled him to her chest lightly. Cuddling him , she ran out. Just across was a staircase that lead down to the first floor. Where she would exit.

Running across the three foot wide hallway Sephirime ran straight atop the first step. There she quickly stepped down. Skipping a stair or two. When she reached the last step the baby nestled to her chest was screaming. Ignoring it she walked to the door. Unable to open it with one hand she pulled back. Bringing her foot back to break the door down ,Sephirime used her extra strength, given through her Lycan Lineage, to just break the hinges.

As her foot impacted the hinges did fall beneath her strength. Sephirime was independent and a quick thinker, it never took her long just to open a door. As the hinges broke the wooden door fell onto the stairs leading to the dirt floor. Hitting the stairs the door clanged down. Quickly jumping over the stairs and the door at the ground level Sephirime landed slightly crouched.

Standing up she looked viciously to the black stallion held in the family stable. Still barefoot, and baby screaming in her arms, she ran towards it. As she neared the horse she gave herself a slight jump, jumping over the wooden gate blocking the horse from stampeding away.

Landing on it's back abruptly the horse neighed alittle and pounced back. After a moment though it regained it's composure. " Micheal, come over here and open the gate....make haste." Sephirime screamed over the hooves beating the dirt ground.

As if Sephirime had ordered her son he galloped his horse, crossbow in hand, and he opened the gate. Pulling a small lever the gate entrance opened and Sephirime was let through. Looking at her oldest son , Sephirimecould see his anxious face. Gazing at her his eyes became quickly fierce and he spoke over the screaming child within her breast. " Mother, go. Take Thomas with you. I'm going to quickly follow behind. I just need to cut some loose ends. Go!" With that she galloped away. Nearing a hill she stopped and looked back. What Sephirime saw disheartened her.

Her son Micheal moved near his brother Thomas's window. Aiming the crossbow at the window he let it rip out of it's holding. Breaking through the glass it pulled the blanket with it. Instead of just breaking the window it hit the candles which lit the room. Quickly the heavy blanket was covered in hue of fiery red. Smoke began to build and it erupted to the building. Within minutes the room was lit like a torch and was spreading.

Thomas, quited by the moving wiggled around near her. Letting out one tear Sephirime continued her horse. Galloping off into the sunset. The hooves of her sons horse quickly behind her. Whatever had happened had to be gorey and something must have happened. Her son hadn't returned with his father, was her husband truely dead?
