Midway City.
Not that big or great a place, compared to some of the other places he had seen. Not as busy as Central, nowhere near as big as Metropolis. But Midway WAS something special. It was the home of the Doom Patrol. The world's first superhero team.
Robotman, Elasti-Girl, Mentor and Negative Man. They were among the first super-humans who appeared. And due to their... unusual appearances... they at first made people feel uneasy. Flying and strength was one thing, but their powers as well as looks were bizarre, especially since the superhumans hadn't become an everyday thing. But due to their service to society an openness about who they were, they quickly became loved. And why shouldn't they be? A team of superheroes was something entirely else. It had a status that not even Superman could reach. It changed Midway from just another town in the Midwest to a center for tourism, to see the world't greatest team.
That was why the city as it was now were an even sadder sight. To see it so... ravaged.
There was a big grater where Midway Highschool had once been. In the middle of it was raised a memorial stone. It said; We will never forget.
Some punk named Ira had decided to become a super-criminal and live out his dream. One that included fighting the Patrol. He thought the quickest way to get their attention were by burning down his school. Instead, it was Niles Caulder, the chief of the Doom Patrol, who had come, trying to stop the evil brat. Some claimed that after taking away his ability to walk, the punk had beaten him to death with a pipe. And then went on with terrorizing the rest of the city.

Cold could see that the city was still recovering after the disaster. A lot of houses had "for sale" signs, since people had moved away. Midway was either a city of the past or one that had a really hard time recovering.
All this only supported Cold's theory that there was no such thing as a lucky Snart, since his sister lived in this fallen town.
According to the info he got from Prankster(W2 note: read Cap Cold chapter 4) Lisa did live out her dream and became a professional figure skater. She became part of something called the Futura Ice Show, and was very successful.
... But it was short-lived.
She had been hit by a car. Her legs had been broken in three places. It was a god's miracle that she could walk again. But skate? That was over. Not the way she used to.
She managed to get a job as skating instructor. Moved to Midway, started a new life, got married and had a daughter.
And now, Cold stood in front of her door. She actually didn't move after the IQ disaster. More importantly, she SURVIVED.
Her last-name was Star now. Cold stood in front of her door. Once he had pressed the doorbell, there was no turning back. He had to face her, hope for her forgiveness and that she would actually give a damn about him. For her, he might as well be a stranger. Heck, that's exactly what he was; a stranger. They shared blood, and so what?
Or maybe he was just pessimistic? After all, they were siblings, they had some sort of bond no one else had. That had to count for something, right? They could make up for all the years they hadn't seen each other.
Or... He could just NOT press the doorbell.
Cold took a deep breath... and made his decision.
