1.1: black panel.
CAPTION: The world thinks I'm dead.
CAPTION: The world is wrong.
1.2: Azrael (Jean Paul) descending from a rooftop. He's wearing his hooded costume (retractable spikes-gloves)
CAPTION: It's been a while...
CAPTION: ....But I'm back.
1.3: Side view of Azrael landing on a car.
CAPTION: Mario Falcone has been building up and empire....currently, one of his divisions in engaging in a weapons shipment.
CAPTION: I'm here to stop that.
1.4: Falcone's men shooting at Azrael.
SFX: BUDDABUDDABUDDABUDDABUDDABUDDABUDDABUDDA
Mobster: WASTE HIM!!!
Page Two:
2.1: Azrael dodging bullets. He's running forward.
2.2: Closeup on Azrael's hand as he throws shurikens.
2.3: The mobsters are disarmed.
Mobster #2: UNH!
2.4: Jean Paul twist a mobster's arm, breaking it, while throwing a kick behind him, landing on another person's face.
2.5: Jean Paul ducking under a right cross.
2.6: Jean Paul springs up, striking the man with an uppercut. (Blades have been retracted the whole time)
Page Three:
3.1: Azrael turns his head around, the Captain of the mobsters is loading his gun.
Azrael: You're their leader I take it?
Captain: What of it?!
SFX: Chak!
3.2: The bullet leaving the chamber of the gun.
3.3: Azrael popping his blade from his glove.
3.4: Bullet about to hit Azrael.
3.5: Azrael slicing the bullet in half, while effectively dodging it.
Page Four:
4.1: The mobster, shocked.
Captain: ....Damn.
4.2: Azrael charging.
Azrael: hurrrrrrraaargh!
4.3: Azrael tackling the mobster.
SFX: SLAM!
4.4: The mobster punches Azrael off of him.
Azrael: Unnf!
CAPTION: He's trained...not well, but trained nonetheless.
4.5: The mobster kicking Azrael across the face.
Captain: GOOD FOR NOTHING FREAK!
4.6: Azrael catching his leg with his next kick.
Azrael: Freak?
Page Five:
SPLASH! Azrael break's the man's leg. He's in mid fall backwards.
Captain: ARRRRRRGH!
SFX: SNAP!
Azrael: I assure you, I am not a 'freak'
Page Six:
6.1: Azrael leaning over the mobster, his blade tip touches his nose.
Azrael: I believe we established this earlier, but you're a captain for the Falcone family, right?"
Captain: Y-y-yes....
6.2: The Mobster, with his eye crosses, looking at the blade in between his eyes. A drop of blood trickles down his face.
Azrael (Off panel): Good for you....now I think I'll let you carry a message for me....listen closely.
6.3: View of the city.
Captain: AAAIIIIIIIEEEEEE!
Page Seven:
CAPTION: Mario Falcone's penthouse apartment.
7.1: Mario Falcone standing sideways, hands behind his back, looking at us.
Mario: Now...my friend....my friend....tell me what happened....
7.2: The captain from before. He's in a wheelchair, covered in blood soaked bandages all over his face, and he has a cast on his leg.
Captain: I-I-I'm s-s-sorry s-s-sir....one of the f-f-freaks showed up and r-ruined the whole plan....we never got the weapons.
7.3: Closeup, Mario's head and shoulder's, he's raised an eyebrow.
Mario: So you've failed me?
7.4: Mario discretely pulling a gun from his suit jacket.
Captain (Off Panel): Well, sir....I wouldn't put it that w--
7.5: Mario shooting the captain through the head.
SFX: BLAAM!
Page Eight:
8.1: One of Mario's guards enter.
Guard: Something wrong, sir?
8.2: Closeup on Mario's eyes. He's filled with hatred.
Mario: Get rid of the body...tell the man's second in command he's been promoted....tell him not to disappoint me.
Guard (Off panel) Right, boss.
8.3: Mario looking out his window, his back to us. (Classic citywide landscape shot)
Mario (small text): Damn freaks....
8.4: Side view of Mario's head, bowed down.
Mario (Small text): God help us all.
Page Nine:
SPLASH! Jean Paul in a crummy warehouse bathroom. He's looking at himself in a mirror. Multiple scars adorn his body. We can see in a reflection several Azrael costumes through the years. (NOTE: He's been funding himself from the money from the mobster's he's taken down.)
CAPTION: I....remember.
Page Ten:
10.1: Jean Paul's dead body.
CAPTION: I died.....
10.2: Azrael's grave...a hand reaches through the ground.
CAPTION: I was reborn.
10.3: Jean Paul in his Azrael uniform.
CAPTION: St. Dumas was not done with me.
Page Eleven:
11.1: Jean Paul's head turned.
SFX: CRASH!
CAPTION: That noise!
11.2: Jean Paul putting on his shirt and mask.
11.3: Jean Paul running out of the bathroom.
CAPTION: Someone's here.
11.3: Jean Paul standing, shocked. The figure who broke in has his back to us. Only a flaming sword is visible.
Jean Paul: YOU!
Page Twelve:
12.1: The figure's eyes.
Figure: So you've heard of me?
12.2: Jean Paul's eyes.
Jean Paul: I've been back for months....I've heard stories about you.
12.3: The figure's lips.
Figure: So the rumors are true....you have returned from the dead.
Page Thirteen:
13.1: Jean Paul's mouth.
Jean Paul: They might be....
13.2: Closeup on Jean Paul's face.
Jean Paul: What's it to you?
13.3: The figure's chest. A cross is emblazoned on it

14.1: Over the shoulder of the figure
Figure: Everything.
14.2: Same shot.
Jean Paul: Tell me....what's your name?
14.3: The figure grips the handle of his sword.
NO DIALOGUE.

SPLASH! MICHAEL LANE in a heroic pose facing Jean Paul, his flaming sword(s) in hand.
Michael: My name is Michael Lane.....and I'm here to make you an offer......
