Continued from part 2 his is the third part in my Curse of Black Adam series. Hope you enjoy.
“You’ve got some nerve striking me, little girl!” Wonder Woman declared.
“You’ve got some nerve talking to me like that, old lady.”
“Old lady?!” Yelled Wonder Woman.
Wonder Woman’s red ring began to light up again.
“Bring it on!” Isis smiled.
Wonder Woman unleashed a large red beam of energy. Just as Isis evaded it, Wonder Woman unexpectedly punched her from behind.
“Fell for a simple distraction.” Wonder Woman laughed.
Isis charged at her with a powerful kick, which Wonder Woman easily blocked then followed with a hard kick of her own. Before she could hit the ground, Isis used her powers to direct the wind against her, giving her a chance to recover. Wonder Woman quickly rushed at her, but Isis counterattacked by telekinetically controlling a large boulder to hit her from behind, keeping her bound to the ground. Isis then made her way down to the injured Zidain.
“Are you alright?” She asked.
“I’m fine.” He answered. “Why are you helping me?”
“I’ll explain later. Let’s deal with Wonder Woman for now.”
Ready for round two, Zidain yelled “SHAZAM!”, transforming him into the black suited marvel once more. When they turned to Wonder Woman, they witnessed the powerful Amazonian lift the boulder with ease and hurl it at them.
“Let’s go!” He yelled.
They charged at her and attacked her from both sides with a flurry of punches and kicks. Outnumbered, Wonder Woman released a powerful red explosion, sending both Zidain and Isis crashing into the ground.
“You two are just pathetic.”
Zidain appeared behind her and slammed her straight into the ground. Unfinished, Zidain came down on her like a meteor, creating a massive shockwave.
“We have to get out of here!” Isis yelled as she rushed to Zidain’s side.
“Why?” He asked.
Zidain looked at Isis and saw countless hawkmen surrounding them.
“That’s why.” She answered.
“I have an idea.”
“What?” Isis asked.
Zidain gazed and the sky and yelled “SHAZAM!”, then jumped out of the way just as the lightning bolt hit the ground. The impact resulted in a large cloud of sand, blocking the visibility of the hawkmen.
“Run!” He yelled.
By the time the dust cleared, they had disappeared. Isis led him back into the city where they hid in a small house.
“I think we’re safe. Now, tell me who you are and why you helped me.” Zidain demanded.
“Straight to the point.” She said. “My name’s Mira. I’m a descendant of Black Adam. I possess something called the Amulet of Isis. It grants me the powers of the goddess Isis herself. I’m not a big fan of the dictator government. When I saw you fighting Wonder Woman, I decided to give you a hand and here we are now.
“That... explains a bit. Anyway, thanks for the help. Bye.” Zidain said as he flew off.
“Wait!” Mira yelled.
Zidain stopped and turned around.
“What are you going to do now?” She asked.
A question which Zidain had only one possible answer for.
“I’m going to finish what I started.” He said.
“What?! You’re actually going to go fight Wonder Woman again? She’ll kill you.”
“First of all, I can take her. Secondly, I’m not going after her.”
“Oh. What are you going to do?” She asked.
“I’m going to take control of Kahndaq, then declare war on Superman.”
“Ah. Well, that sounds fun and all, but do you really think that’s the smartest idea?” She asked.
“There’s more to it than that.” He said.
“Great! You can tell me all about it on the way because I’m coming.”
“Whatever.” He said.
“So, what’s your name?”
“My name’s Zidain, but you can just call me Black Adam.”
