CHAOTIC AND ALL CHARACTERS AND SETTINGS ARE THE PROPERTY OF 4Kids Productions, Bardel Entertainment, Kodo studios, a subsidiary of Dracco Company. AND THEIR RESPECTIVE AFFILIATES. ALL RIGHTS RESERVED, I THOUGHT OF THE STORY BUT THESE AREN'T MY PEOPLE.

During the aftermath of the War of the Guardians, various creatures have emerged from the chaos and thus rein the land. The most notable place in the Perim was Kiru Village, the ancestral home to the Overworlders. Under the careful guidance of Kiru, the village was flourishing as a peaceful society. Though there was a time when that peace was nearly threatened. The infamous raider known as Kaal the Cruel, attacked the village from time to time in an attempt to capture people to work in the Valrium mines for his own personal gain. The battle reached to a breaking point when Kaal murdered several innocents’. Kiru, along with several allies of his, went on a secret mission to hunt down and murder Kaal and free the captives. Several of his allies were interested in his action against the leader of the Raiders but others, like the sorcerer Najarin, started to question his methods.

As the years passed, Kiru Village would grow to become Kiru City, a nation of great caliber and might. It would become home to different tribes from other lands: The beast-like Overworlders, the demonic-like Underworlders, the lizard folk Mipedians, the ant-like Danians, the aquatic creatures known as M’arrillians, and the native Frozen. Other races outside the tribes would come to know Kiru City and the Overworld. The immortal and advanced elves, the filth ridden but resourceful goblins, the forest dwellers known as the tree beasts, the mighty giants, the great miners known as dwarves, and the warlike faction known as the orcs. Giants, ogres, trolls, gnomes, and dragons also coexisted alongside the nation.

This was in many cases of historical records the Golden Age, yet it would not last long, as leadership and the position of power made its presence known. Kiru began his journey to learn the secrets of the Guardians and found the ancient power known as the Cothica. The great wizards decided that the power should be used wisely, but there was one who thought otherwise. The M’arrillian leader Aa’une managed to obtain a special portion of the Cothica’s power on a mystical stone. Using this stone, Aa’une manipulated most of his tribe and other creatures to join his cause. He would be known as Aa'une the Oligarch, the most powerful creature of Perim. His conquest began with the Underworld in order to secure the Cothica. Aa’une nearly succeeded in his conquest until the Battle of Lake Ken-i-Po. It was in Najarin’s castle that the Council of Sorcerers made their ultimate stand and repelled the M’arrillian threat. Eventually the mighty wizard Durak battled Aa’une on Lake Blakeer, where he denied the conqueror of victory by shattering the Cothica Stone. Realizing that their master was defeated, the M’arrillians would later use their mind manipulation and control powers and erase all memory of their existence from the minds of every being on Perim, save several members of the Council and the creatures that were not involved in the M’arrillian Conquest. The M’arrillians eventually retreated to the Doors of the Deepmines to preserve their strength.

The Council of Wizards would later convince the remaining Tribes to set up guards to ensure that the Doors would never be opened again. Members of each tribe would rotate in guard duty insuring that one creature would have to stand the presence of each different tribe. From then on the tribes almost forgot about the doors and the mysterious threat behind them completely. Aside from the Council, a rare few who lived through that time and survived into these days, such as Ikkatosh, a survivor from the time of Kiru. Unfortunatly for the other tribes the M'arrillians were only re-gathering their forces. But stuck in the filthy water their greatest advantage had become their greatest enemy. Luckily the M'arrillians leader Aa'une the Oligarch had foreseen this problem and made one of his soldiers named Phelphor become encased in ice before the retreat. He would lay frozen until freed by an unsuspecting creature. Then Phelphor would trick that creature into opening the doors so that the M'arillians could conquer Perim again. But alas, that is a story for another time.

The reemergence of the Cothica was only the catalyst of troubled times ahead, the M’arrillian Conquest was only the cornerstone of an even greater conflict that would last many years to come…
