Borderlands/Marvel Crossover,should i try it?

I was thinking of trying to do a crossover story between Borderlands(game) and Marvel,but I just need to know if I should even try,and if I should,can get some tips on how I should write and what I should include?

here is what i have already planed to do:
Marvel heroes competing in Mad Moxie's Underdome
Brick fighting one of these characters(Rhino,weaker version of Hulk,Depowerd Juggernaut)
The mercs getting somehow sent to the marvel universe
anybody got something to say?
