Then when her physical body was complete he blew her bodily soul into it.

A perfect fit.

The-Spirit was joined to her bodily soul

And her bodily soul was now joined to her physical body.

She became a living soul, an individual.

She who was chaos was fashioned by The-Man into Mother Nature.

She is Nature in the broadest sense.

She is this very Universe.

And she was the one he would love forever.

Ebla, North Syria

Lord of heaven and earth: the earth was not, you created it, the light of day was not, you created it, the morning light you had not [yet] made exist.

There was no heaven, Great One formed it. There was no earth, Great One formed it. There was no sun, Great One formed it. There was no moon, Great One formed it.

-The Ebla Tablets

‘Now, the mother goddess in old mother-goddess mythologies was herself

already the Universe it’s her own body that is the universe. She is identical

with the universe. That’s the sense of that Goddess Nut figure that you [see]

in the Egyptian temple. She is the whole sphere of the life -- enclosing heavens.’

-The Power of Myth. Joseph Campbell with Bill Moyers

Taoism

The nameless was the beginning of heaven and earth

The named was the mother of the manifold creatures

The-Woman as our universe

‘Now, the mother goddess in old mother-goddess mythologies was herself already the Universe it’s her own body that is the universe. She is identical with the universe. That’s the sense of that Goddess Nut figure that you [see] in the Egyptian temple. She is the whole sphere of the life -enclosing heavens.’135

Bon Po’s of Tibet.

From the Void a being came into existence. Her body became the whole universe. The crown of her head was the sky, her eyes the moon and sun, her teeth the planets, her voice thunder, her tongue lightening, her breath clouds, her tears rain, her nose breath the wind, her blood oceans her veins rivers, her flesh soil and her bones the mountains.136

For it is he who looks at himself in his light which surrounds him, namely the spring of the water of life. And it is he who gives to all the aeons and in every way, (and) who gazes upon his image which he sees in the spring of the Spirit. It is he who puts his desire in his water-light which is in the spring of the pure light-water which surrounds him. “And his thought performed a deed and she came forth, namely she who had appeared before him in the shine of his light. This is the first power which was before all of them (and) which came forth from his mind, She is the forethought of the All - her light shines like his light - the perfect power which is the image of the invisible, virginal Spirit who is perfect. The first power, the glory of Barbelo, the perfect glory in the aeons, the glory of the revelation, she glorified the virginal Spirit and it was she who praised him, because thanks to him she had come forth. This is the first thought, his image; she became the womb of everything for it is she who is prior to them all.140

Visualizing the Goddess

In the first of five preliminary Tumo exercises, you are required to visualize yourself as the goddess VajraYogini a naked, virginal, 16-year-old Tantric divinity who personifies spiritual energy. She has luminous ruby-red skin and a visible third eye in the middle of her forehead. See yourself in the form of this goddess about your own size. Once the image is established, imagine yourself growing. Continue to grow until VajraYogini’s form is large enough to encompass the entire universe.150

The Okanagan Indians

Old One created a woman as the world. He took the tiny earth that was first here, rolled it out, and pulled it like dough until it became Earth Woman. Her head was in the west, where the rivers flow and where we go when we die. Trees and other plants are her hair, the soil is her body, stones are her bones, and the wind is her breath. Old One made the animals out of little pieces of her body. He blew on them to give them life151

Ancient Greece

In the beginning Eurynome, Queen of the circling universe and the goddess of all things rose naked from chaos152

Buddhism

It came time for the bodhisattva to fall from Tsuita Heaven and light rays came out of each and every hair follicle of the bodhisattva’s body. These rays were as numerous as the grains of sand in countless Buddha fields; and they were illuminations that are the source of all the wondrous virtues that belong to the mother of all the tathagatas, and contained within them the hosts of excellent virtues that belong to the mother of all the bodhisattvas. These rays illuminated the entire world system and then fell onto my body. They entered into my body from the tip of my head and then penetrated every pore of my body. Thus, O noble son, did those rays of light that had come from the bodhisattva, those rays of light with their many names, rays of light that give rise to the magical appearances associated with the mother of all the bodhisattvas, all entered my body. 153

And, O noble son, when those light rays entered into my body, my body came to embrace the entire world, my womb became as expansive as the ether, but at the same time neither my body nor my womb exceeded normal human proportions. And then all of the magical manifestations of the palaces in which the bodhisattvas are to dwell while in their mother’s womb, all of these palaces in all the ten directions, could be seen within my body; they could all be seen right inside my body. 154

He then made this his Self to split in two and thence arose husband and wife. Therefore Yajnavalkya said “We two are thus each like half a shell.” Therefore the void that was there is filled by his wife. He embraced her.156

Maori of New Zealand

Men had but one pair of primitive ancestors; they sprang from the vast heaven that exists above us, and from the earth which lies beneath us. According to the traditions of our race, Rangi (Father Heaven) and Papa, (Mother Earth), were the source from which, in the beginning, all things originated. Darkness then rested upon the heaven and upon the earth, and they still both clave together, for they had not yet been rent apart; and the children they had begotten were ever thinking amongst themselves what might be the difference between darkness and light.169

God created the first man, Mwuetsi. God gave him a ngona horn filled with ngona oil and told him he would live at the bottom of the waters. Mwuetsi said to God “I want to live on the land”. God reluctantly agreed, but said Mwuetsi would give up immortality if he did. After a while Mwuetsi complained of loneliness, so God sent him a woman, Massassi, to keep him company. Each night they slept on opposite sides of a campfire, until one night Mwuetsi jumped over the flame and touched Massassi with a finger he had moistened with the ngona oil. In the morning Massassi was huge, and soon gave birth to plants and trees until the whole earth was covered by them. Soon God took Massassi away. Mwuetsi wept for a long time, so God sent him another woman, Morongo. On the first night Mwuetsi touched her with his oiled finger, but she said she was different to Massassi, and that they would have to oil their loins and have intercourse. This they did, this night, and every night thereafter.171

A Summary of Creation

This Pygmy creation story is a good overall picture of what took place…

Chameleon heard a strange noise, like water running, in a tree,

but at that time there was no water in the world.

He cut open the trunk,

and water came out in a great flood that spread all over the earth.

The first human couple emerged with the water.173

Chameleon is The-Spirit.

The tree is of course The-Man. The cutting of the tree is the sacrifice of The- Man.

The water is Chaos.

After the sacrifice the waters of chaos result.

The first human couple is The-Man resurrected and The-Woman created.
