The energy generator:
Garian used his private jet to get to Lord Knightfalls estate. It was possible he might have something to use against Simon. EMPs wouldn't work. Magic was dampened. He needed some kind of defense. Upon arrival Garian was put through many detectors to see if he was really who he said. Everyone knew him but it was a security issue to prevent illusionists or the like from getting in. They especially examined Nex to see if it was real.
As Garian entered the lobby he found Cyrdus knightfall waiting.
"Hello," Cydrus greeted him uncaring, "Need something?"
"That's why I come here isn't it?" Garian said removing his coat, "Ever heard of a man called Simon. AKA 'tank'. He's a human."
"Yes, he's on my list of possible targets or allies." Cydrus answered. He'd studied many and was in the process of examining them. He was also searching for something known as the Nubus brotherhood.
"Good," Garian replied, "I need a way to defend myself better against him. He's an excellent planner and even I can't predict everything he does or can't stop it. He invaded Vacatio. I ran him out but it still stands that he got in. No mere human has ever accomplished that before."
"I might have something, it'll cost you." Cydrus said.
"I expected as much. In what resource?" Garian asked. It was common for Cydrus to request a certain resource each time.
"I want a diamond sword. I know you have two just like every dragon warrior. I want one." Cydrus said. He'd been waiting till something big. An invasion into Vacatio was big.
Garian hesitated. It was true he didn't use them but they were like trophies. They held a special place guarded, "Alright. But only if I think it's worth it."
Cydrus grinned. He removed a circular device from behind him and handed it to Garian. "Press it against yourself, anywhere will do."
Garian took it and pressed it against his left forearm. Immediatly straps wrapped around his arm. They were actually auite comfortable but hardly noticable.
"Meet the energy generator." Cydrus said revealing one under his coat, "A new invention of mine. It creates energy both into the body and allows the user to creat sheilds with it strong enough to stop a crashing jet. I assume Simon shot you with various missiles and the like so this will come in handy when blocking multiple attacks." He activated his own and nodded somewhere. The roof slammed down but with his hands raised it hit the sheild and stopped while denting itself. It then lifted back up and pressed itself back together.
"How will that do?" Cydrus asked.
Garian inspected his own, "Alright, fine. I'll have one of them brought to you."
"Good, I'll see you later." Cydrus said escorting him out.
