I have no doubt this will be taken down in a few hours. But I bet it gets more hits than my fic in which I have Prof. X kill Psylocke. But pandering aside, this is a comic I lifted from a fan website that demonstrates a basic problem for many writers: trying not to create a Mary-Sue character.

My point is this when it comes to creating new character: Every character must have some flaws and  personality. By saying an original character is friends with a character just in passing is not good enough. Every character in the comic universe has lots of baggage it takes really original character to create a realistic dynamic.   Yes I know my only story features only established characters but I have read tons fan-fiction. I know when some one is creating a truly original character and who is just writing a fantasy about what it would be like to have powers and got invited to fight villains with [insert superhero name here].

I should mention that I am Shadowgal. I just can't be bothered to switch profiles sometimes.

No I didn't draw it. I found it in the forums of Harrypotterrealm.com. They have an a RPG dedicated to Mary-Sues. This not to chastise writers. The point is a just to raise awareness about comic fics. Fanfiction.com and other sites are littered with them.
