Can't upload images

Anytime I attempt to upload an image the message "Error uploading images: Internal Server Error" comes up. Figured someone else would have reported this by now, is this a problem with my account or the site in general?

I'm on a Windows 7 using Chrome 34, Javascript and Cookies enabled, the problem has been happening for the past 24 hours. If you need to know anything else, just ask.

Hmm, I'm using Win7 and Chrome 34 and it seems to be working ok. Can you try running it in an incognito window, or try in another browser and see if that works?

Doesn't work in either Incognito mode or a different browser (Safari, in case that's important), but I tried uploading an image on a different account and it works fine, so it seems to just be an issue with this account.

@_eclipse_: Hmm, I'm not seeing anything obviously wrong with your account. Did you recently change a username or email address or anything like that?

@rorie: Nope, I don't even know how to change my username or email... :P

I've had this account for a few years, so I believe that it may share the same email address as some of my other unused-for-years accounts, if that's relevant. It'd be difficult to give you a definitive list of those accounts, but they've never been an issue before and I haven't tried to access any of them for years. I only recently came back to the site, but since I have been back I've been able to upload images with no problems, until two days ago.

@rorie: Just an update: it's been a week and I'm still totally unable to upload images. I've been using some other accounts (all of which have separate emails) and have no problems with any of those, so it's obviously not an issue with my browser or computer, but with this account. Would changing the email address for this account be a possible solution? Thought it best to ask before I tried in case it just made things worse.

@_eclipse_: I can change your email address for you, sure. Just send me an email at support@comicvine.com and I can try to do that today. Be sure that the new email address isn't used for any other account, though, or that'll just cause more issues.

@rorie: I changed the email myself (and it's worth noting I updated my email like a year ago anyway, so the old email address had no ties to any other accounts) and I still can't upload images. Any other ideas?

Also, when I check my profile, it seems to think I haven't uploaded any images at all, and I can't see the images on my profile unless they are in a specific folder (for instance, I can see the images in my Super Dinosaur folder, but not my All Images folder). I can access some of my images through the 'Previous Uploads' option when I try to insert an image, but I can only see the ones I've uploaded most recently, plus like 4 that I uploaded last year. There should be a LOT more than that...

@_eclipse_: That sounds like something @mrpibb will probably have to fix, unforrtunately. I believe all of those images are still there; they're just not being shown for some reason.

I've been having the same issue. My images are still visible on my profile, but it won't let me upload from my desktop to the site as usual.

I've been having the same error for the last two weeks and i've tried everything I could think of.

I'm having a similar issue. I can post pictures I already have, but I can't upload new ones. I don't get any error messages or anything, it just doesn't upload.

Yep, it lets me post images from my desktop but basically gives up when it comes to URL.

It looks like uploading from a URL is currently busted for some reason - I'll see if someone can look into it. If you have issues uploading from your desktop, let me know at support at comicvine.com and I can try looking into your account. Sometimes those issues are account-specific.

@rorie: I had just uploaded one from my desktop, but cannot upload from URL. Interestingly, when I hit the reply button to put your name in here, it knocked out the picture I had uploaded. Trying again...

Tried to load from Previous Uploads, but it was just trying to load the thumbnails forever and I gave up.

yep url uploading has been busted about 8-9 hours.

I can't upload, and apparently the links I post to images don't work either.
