TNBB's Powerhouse Tournament (CLOSED)

Intro

Welcome! To the arena where the toughest characters in all of comics go at it! This is for the Desperos, the PC Supermen, the Thanos's and the Pre-52 Darkseids of the world.

Each competitor will be randomly matched up against another! You lose your first match, you are OUT!

Choose one character only.

Rules!

• No time manipulation
• No Wally West, Eobard Thawne, Adult Bart Allen or Hunter Zolomon
• Must be below skyfather. If Odin has too much trouble with your character, they're probably too much for the tournament.
• No reality warping. Or if your character does have reality warping, they will not be allowed to use it.
• BFR is not allowed
• No prep.
• You may have your character be bloodlusted and morals off if it is viable.
• I may choose to give your character a perk (for example full knowledge or immunity to transmutation). You do not decide whether your character has a perk or not.
• Winner of the tournament gets to face a hidden boss if they want! (me)
• Sign ups will remain open for a week or so.
• No possessing opponents. TP and soul attacks are allowed though. For example Deadman wouldn't be allowed.

He was only briefly in control of all the entities (minus Parallax, I think) and only barely even then. But, your tournament, your rules. He's just my favorite character at the moment and I'm always looking for the opportunity to use him.

You can have Flame of Py'Tar Despero (who's more powerful than w/o the Flame which gives him transmutation and the like)

or you can have him and I can put you on the opposite side of the bracket as Speedster with a different perk

Well, I'm in like 4 tournaments already and I have the High School debate state championships in March... I was hoping that by the time this tournament was over states would be over as well and then I could face the winner.

Superboy Prime sounds good. Obviously no Time Trapper or anything.

While I do love debating with both Dr Fate and Firestorm (as made apparent by my username), I may try someone different here. Would Takion (of the New Gods) be allowed?

Not sure... Thanos level should really be the limit and on the him vs Thanos thread people were saying he beats Thanos easily. Try someone else please

@comicdude360: I feel the pain xD. I was stuck with a hand held for TNBBs last tournament.

@thenewbluebeetle007: Ok, how about Obsidian, nerfed to reasonable mortality (as in he can die, within a Reasonable amount of damage). If not, I may just go with Dr Fate. What would the restrictions on his version be? If I'm restricted to Hall and V Nelson, they may need some perks to even things up. As it stands either version gets blitzed by Superboy Prime the pico second the battle begins. Fate needs prep to access his super speed, as it is based on the distortion of the Order Forces that govern the universe. Through this process he can keep up with everyone from Superman (at normal levels) to Flash (when Bloodlusted, and therefore less cautious about the repercussions about altering the Quantum State of the Universe. Basically, he needs prep to stand a chance here (it doesn't have to be long, but long enough to get his speed going and some spells running). If Fate with prep is also not allowed, I'd like to use Fernus (who may be over the limits) or Hourman 1 million (no Worligog, Amazo Software, but before the second Nerf at the beggining of his series). If none of these people work, I'll get back to you.

Fernus is absolutely perfect. I'm going to mark you down for him, tell me if you'd like to change.

Obsidian I don't know too much about but I'm pretty sure I saw some Viners saying he's on the same level as Starheart Alan Scott. I'd rather not have any prep, and I don't know H1M.
