Justice League vs. Slaughter League

Note: Slaughter League have had time to work out their differences and are following a common goal. They are working together and have a small amount of experience doing so. They are not as likely to attack each other as the JL.

Atrocitus will take down Kyle via conversion instantly

Etrigan will prep and do some random magic bullsh*t and take out Superman instantly

Lobo will pwn Wonder Woman Aquaman and Batman simultaneously, though it will take a while

Black Adam, Atrocitus, Kyle and Etrigan vs J'onn and an in-char Wally...?

Slaughter League wins I'd say 7/10.

Fix'd

Justice League more often than not, numbers, better teamwork even with the stip, Batman is a prep master, and Lobo's gonna be too busy hitting on Wonder Woman.

Wally solos.

One does not simply solo a team with Lobo.

Atros is good with prep too, as is Etrigan. Wally is in character so he won't just solo... also remember Teth-Adam is on this team... the guy who burst Hawkman's mace with one hand like a bodybuilder bursts a basketball.

My idea of Etrigan prepping is having sex with Xanadu for a day, then at some point telling her what he has to do the next day, then the Demon Knights taking over the entire f*cking world and throwing it at the other team

Justice League gets it done. One day of prep is not helping the wannabe league at all.

A focused Lobo could make use of prep. Too bad he's usually not.

In that case, Aquaman is a bigger player than you might think. Lobo has J'Onn's, Diana's, and Clark's weaknesses on speed dial.

WW(GoA & SoH) lassos Lobo or Adam.

Manhunter deals with Adam or Lobo.

Supe, Kyle and AM occupy Atr till one of the others is finished or if they stop him first, they help fight Adam.

Batman mopes in the corner.

If Wondy lassos Lobo, he'll either avoid it as he knows firsthand what it does or he'll summon the Spazfrag. In character, J'Onn is not likely to use his phasing effectively and that's his only advantage against the Main Man.

I don't think it's easy either, but I can actually see the S League doing a decent amount of winning.

By the way, if Jones does use his phasing effectively, Lobo will either ignore him, fire incendiary, or be double-Ko'd from the telefragging explosion. He's dealt with Phase before.

That's why the GLs always team up with a Blue Lantern when going after Red or orange.

Atrocitus doesn't even have to do anything; he has a bunch of red rings which would zoom off at the justice league.

Atrocitus only corrupted Hal because he was angry that Sinestro killed Laira and that wouldn't work on Kyle seeing as he can turn into a red lantern if he wants to or channel Blue Lantern energy

In terms of plot it was meh. < Marvel Zombies for sure. I enjoyed the first all-Lantern Teamup though, that was cool.

I'm of the opinion that that power is just a plot device so GLs have to have BLs.

Also, Red lantern atrocitus is a lot more impressive than Blackest Night Atr, which is what I meant.

@thedarklordpandamonium: Guy stomped the living hell out of him recently. Don't exaggerate Atrocitus' capabilities that much like you do with other characters. Not too sure about Etrigan's prep time but even in character, Wally is still useful enough to influence the battle a great deal. I mean, he wouldn't be such a big deal if he was useless with morals on. The Justice League do outmuscle and can outprep the other team IMO.

This isn't a random encounter. This is a prepped encounter, and Atrocitus is probably going to bring Red Rings to try and corrupt Kyle, etc.

That would only work if Kyle had rage in his heart, Kyle's a pretty laid back guy it most likely won't work, not to mention it's not tactic Atrocitus really employs

Etrigan and Lobo at least are getting blitzed and incapacitated. Go ahead and add Black Adam to that list since Jay had him to dead rights and he's nowhere close to massively FTL.

Not sure why anyone thinks Atrocitus bringing Red rings to corrupt people makes any difference when all you need to incapacitate a red ring and prevent it from corrupting people is a simple stasis field. That's what the Engineer did, and the League could pull out a stasis field generator from the junk in their trophy room.

Or failing that, they could simulate the effect of a stasis field by having Wally drain the kinetic energy out of the rings as they fly towards their targets. Unless by "Wally is in character so he won't solo", you mean "Despite having a day of prep, knowledge of their opponents, several geniuses and two tactical masters on their side, the League will inexplicably neglect to use their most effective attributes so that Atrocitus and his silly ring conversion trick can seem relevant here."

'associated calcs' in the same panel he's listed as going a hair's breadth short of light. And he only did that because he had to. Wally would probably go for Black Adam because Superman would immediately take on Lobo, and Lobo would immediately go for WW Supes and MMH.
