@v_scarlotte_rose: Good job on the win.
@decept_o: Thanks. :D
This almost certainly won't be my entry, as I tried drawing my character to a size that would actually fit on a card, but I found it a little restricting.
Anyway, I decided to try an interpretation of XIV-Temperance, showing the concept of the balance of opposites with the contrasting functions of wings for the sky, and fins for the sea, with the human element in the middle in control. The colour choices are to reflect the balance of light and darkness. Plus the traditional mixing of water and win between cups. I might stick with this concept for a real entry, but I'll re-draw it if I do:
Glad to see enthusiasm for the tarot concept. Looking forward to what you all come up with. :)
@v_scarlotte_rose: Very interesting card choice, I like it! Love her tail too ^__^
Woah. Neat idea, I already have something in mind. If I can retrieve my tablet, I might give this a try.
@armiv2: I like the pose of The Fool
@artiom1q2w: Thanks. I'm thinking I might go with him if I don't feel Death too much.
@samimista: Aw thank you very much! Really enjoying this one. I'll give you a shout when the finished one is up ^__^

Your welcome mate! Cannot wait to see the colored version. =D <3
@samimista: Here is the finished one :)
@bumpyboo: Oooh, this is cool. Nicely drawn, and represents a high priestess pretty well I'd say. :)
@themanintheshoe:The crab is a nice touch. :)
@v_scarlotte_rose: Thanks very much, glad you like it :) Was tough choosing a card, so many opportunities to have fun with this theme choice. This has been my fave contest in ages!
@samimista: Aw thank you sweetie! :D
^___^
It is a refreshing change to not be asked what "that moon thing" is :P
@bumpyboo: Could Maiden Mother Crone work as an art contest on here? Like in a 3 stages of life kind of way?
And now this has come to mind. :)
@wildcats25: That's thinking outside the box. I hadn't expected minor arcana drawings. :)
@v_scarlotte_rose: Hehehe! I love that show ^_^
I think it would be a really interesting contest, that's a pretty cool idea! Would definitely be up for giving it a try :)
Oooh, nice pic, as already mentioned the Minor Arcana is a sweet twist too! Really liking this.
So out of Death, The Hermit, and The Fool, I have finally decided...
There's been a great calling. From all over the world people have been chosen as "avatars" by a great unseen power that seeks unknown goals. In one great monumental flash, the world became center stage to an event that would change everything for as long as man could muster the mind to think. And at the center of this genesis was the individual chosen as the primer to the oncoming cataclysm that was the Tarot's Hold upon civilization.
The Fool; The "spirit in search of excellence".
The first chosen and the one chosen to kick things off, Nicholas Hayden was as average as average could muster until the great flash conceived him anew through violent baptism. His mind being un-anchored from reason and reality gave him new vision; his capacities and thought torn down only to be recreated as force and aimless ambition. His new "holy madness" was charisma to those who found him messianic and terrible telepathic power to those who saw him as a threat. But regardless of whatever anyone else may think or attest to, The Fool has been given unspoken orders to usher the world into a new era.
@armiv2: GLAD YOU CHOSE HIM ,IT IS AWESOME

THANK YOU!
Has been a while, here's an entry I whipped up
Tatyana Doborina/ Avatar of Adjusment
Tatyana was an up-in-coming lawyer but after working on a case against some very corrupt people, she was attacked and killed.
However she awoke to find herself in the care of an old gypsy women. Perplexed she asked the women what happened. Due to the unjust actions against Tatyana, the gypsy women prayed to the spirits of justice. In turn these spirits imbued her with the abilities to eternally judge those worthy or unworthy. She became the avatar of justice and is summoned when justice must be answered. She cant control when she's called but she knows in order to keep living, justice must be answered.
The over all design is based on the thoth tarot version of the justice/adjustment card (my favourite in the deck), for anyone who loves unique illustrations I recommend you take a look. But yeah the design is inspired by the look of the card with some warrior/vigilante elements.

Oooooh! I love this!
@blizaga101: Great to see you back, this is fantastic! :D
O.K., so the deadline is midnight tonight(GMT), but does anyone need some more time?
@patzello, @ragdollpurps@artiom1q2w or anyone else?
So I present (after many attempts to upload and falling asleep with my phone in my hand).
The Tower! Keeper of the Guiltbound Souls.
His body serves as a place of Pergatory, consuming souls of those comsumed by guilt. If only those inside could realize, their freedom comes by setting themselves free.
O.K., I let the deadline go a few extra hours to see if people needed extra time, but they haven't responded, so I'll make a voting thread with the entries that have been posted so far.
This is the deadline.
@bumpyboo: Thank you! I wish I had more time in my schedule to have put toward this one, but as soon as I saw the topic, I knew what I wanted to do.
Sure, an anthrpomorphic tower may be "unconvensional", but I couldn't get the idea out of my head.
I love the turn out overall. This is one of my favorite contests so far!
