Awesome Art Picks: Earthworm Jim, Harley Quin, Superior Spider-Man, and More

Each week we search for the coolest comic book art that you won't see in actual comics. The reason you won't is because artists often draw sketches for fun or commissions and post them on their blogs, Tumblrs, and websites. Some artists even pre-arrange commissions through their sites so be sure to check them out.

Ron Salas posted some new art on his Tumblr including a Valentine's Day version of Power Girl.

Freddie E. Williams II put more warm-up sketches for sale on his website.

Dustin Nguyen posted another Cassandra sketch on his Tumblr.

Yildiray Cinar posted a Boba Fett sketch cover on his Instagram.

Greg Smallwood posted some new art on his Twitter page.

Chris Samnee posted a couple new sketches on his Instagram.

Chrissie Zullo posted some works-in-progress sketches on her Facebook page.

Last week we saw Marcio Takara's SUPERIOR Spider-Man sketch (I'll include it again). He's colored it and posted some more sketches/commissions on his Tumblr.

I feel like a lot of the overly familiar artists here were trying out some new styles. Everything is looking fresh and fantastic. Favorite of the week has to be Skottie Young's Penguin.

I never heard of Chrissie Zullo but I definitely want to see more.

That Marcus To art looks great but I have no idea who he's drawing.

Still infatuated with Chrissie Zullo, still hoping she puts up another original sketch for sale, since I didn't even try to get tickets for SDCC today, since it's practically impossible now, without knowing someone who knows someone, to get into artist's alley.

Freddie Williams II Catwoman art is the one that did it for me this week.

Also a big fan of Chrissie Zullo's work as well.

Haven't seen the user Decept-O in a while.

Galloway's Wonder Woman kind of looks like the Amazon princess as a Pokémon trainer.

There was not a lot from him this time around, but IMO, Philip Tan is consistently the best.

For real, Deodato & Tan are always awesome, & it is always cool to see classic Jay, the way he's meant to be.

This! Henderson's Sailor Moon looks really, really weird. And Marcus To's Seirin boys look gorgeous.

Superior Spider-Man is perfect! The right amount of Spider-Man and the right amount of creepy.

Takara always amazes, his lines are beautiful and Mike Deodato Jr.'s Classic Thor and Daken are like hot chocolate on a cold night (which tonight is). I love them.

Ron Salas' Powergirl for Valentine's is perfect as well.
