Artist Showdown #105 Invincible and Atom Eve!

Well it seems it falls to me to start the next showdown, SO I figured I would pick a hero or heroine from one of my favourite books. You can do either Invincible (Mark Grayson) or Atom Eve (Sam Wilkins) from the Robert Kirkman/Corey Walker/Ryan Ottley book Invincible. Brownie points for both together. If you haven't read the book (SHAME on you, rectify that situation immediately) there are some links below with pics of each :) Enjoy, and let the battle begin!

Since I'm starting this on Saturday, let's go for an ending date of Sunday the 23rd of June to give us a nice full week.

@ssandulak: Great choices. While not very familiar with these characters, this is a great way to introduce them and see what can be done in terms of art.

To answer your question about entering the contest, yes, you can. There isn't anything in the Guidelines stating an artist can't enter his or her own contest. If you have seen past contests, there have been multiple wins by the same artist. So go for it.

Perhaps a Moderator can pin this contest so everyone can see.

Nice. For non-google Comicvine reference - Atom Eve & Invincible. I was out for the weekend, somehow missed this thread yesterday when I checked the forum.

Hmm. I already have Invincible on my list of requests I have to do, but Atom Eve would give me the chance to use the colour pink in a drawing(which is rare).

I'll be entering, but I don't know who I'll be going with yet.

Edited: Just spotted the "Brownie points for both together." so I'll probably do that. :)

Just a quick one today. Don't have time to colour it, sorry! Excellent subject though, Invincible is one of my favourite comics!

@ssandulak: I didn't realize this contest was only one week. Opposite of the other contests which have run for too long, honestly, and not to be a jerk, but one week is a bit too brief for most people. I'd venture there are other artists who'd like to submit something. Any chance you could extend it a few more days instead of just one week?

Yeah, let's give it another week, till next Sunday. I was just used to the one week challenges I guess :) I'd love to see more entries though, so keep em coming folks.

No time to scan this but I guess the picture gives you an idea how they are...honestly, this is a challenging drawing, since the interaction is closer and must convey something.

@iceprince_x: Hey man,I was the last winner to pick the "Crank Those Panels Contest" and it didn't do so well. So the Mod "ShatterStar" and I, decided that since it doesn't get enough recognition,we should just put it on hold/pause or whatever...But if you wish to revive it you should totally do so!! (I dontknow what the right protocol is? if you have to PM the MOD or not?
