For a mini-series that feels like it's a virtual encyclopedia of the history of the DC Universe, it has been, so far, a great read. Len Wein has consistently spearheaded an effort in making a series of issues that not only describes this universe's anthology, but also makes it visually pleasing. The Good When this volume was first announced I was very excited about it. I wasn't expecting a new story but rather a big collection that would be useful to new readers to understand the history of the DC universe, which at times can be difficult to follow, to say the least.
