50 years old and still kicking hard!

Celebrating 50 years without fear, Daredevil is back with yet another monthly series. Writer Mark Waid and artist Chris Samnee join The Man Without Fear once again on another adventure!

    The Good

Daredevil is so cool; he's one of my favorite superheroes because of his abilities! Mark Waid has worked with Daredevil for so long that he makes the reader feel like he's in Daredevil's shoes; hearing and feeling every detail of the world through DD's ears. How Waid describes certain sounds (i.e. radio waves in this issue) it creates an image in your mind of how DD would see and feel the world with his enhanced senses. That is one of the reasons why this book is so successful, because Daredevil's powers are abnormal and the story telling around it uses that weird element to take the reader through an interesting adventure!

This issue really did a great job at getting me excited for Daredevil again in his new surroundings!

The artwork by Chris Samnee is perfect. Like Waid, Chris is also no stranger to The Man Without Fear; so what Mark Waid writes, Chris can illustrate it to make the reader feel as if he or she is in Daredevil's shoes. The colors by Javier Rodriguez is equal to the work of Mark Waid and Chris Samnee. I'm going to save you the trouble of reading, because Javier is also no stranger to coloring DD. SOhis work is a masterpiece that really helps tailor the experience of a Daredevil book.

    The Bad

You seriously need to read a DD comic book.

    The Verdict

You REALLY NEED TO READ THIS SERIES IF YOU LOVED THE LAST ONE! That is the only thing that I need to say. 5 out of 5. DD #2 review!

GoodWell, after the thrilling climax to The Sons of The Serpent storyline, our swashbuckling hero has made his way across the great USA from New York all the way to San Francisco. So did our hero lose anything on the way? Well thankfully no, both Waid and Samnee continue to do superb work on this book and I can tell that it’s going to remain a firm favourite of mine. Now when I first heard that Daredevil was leaving New York I was a little sceptical. I’ve always considered the city a...

Matt Murdock is now in San Francisco! New status quo means new stories to be told, which is great because the last volume of Daredevil was such a climactic conclusion, we really needed a new start and I'm glad Waid and Samne are sticking with it.Not a whole lot happens in this city, it's just getting us used to the way things are going to be from now on, which is fine by me and is getting me excited for where the series can go. So I really don't have all that much to say for this one.Samne's in...
