Daniel HDR (born 1974) is a Brazilian comic book artist.
Born in Porto Alegre (Brazil), in 1974, began as a professional in comics with only 14 years, doing participations as cartoonist to small journals, aside his high school activities. including some illustrations and back up stories to Brazilian indie comic book publishers (Press Editora, D’Arte, Ondas, and others).
In 1995, Image Comics and Marvel Comics, first as art assistant of Mike Deodato, and after signing as Daniel Horn).
In 2000, start his 2 years work at Digimon: Digital Monster, official comic book adaptation from the animated series with same name.
In 2005, sign as exclusive artist with Avatar Press, in a long run at Lady Death books (Classic Lady Death and Medieval Lady Death), with Lady Death's creator Brian Pulido writing. In 2006 your work with Pulido at Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Grind was nominated as BEST SCREEN-TO-COMIC ADAPTATION, on the TV Screen Awards.
X-Men Forever and Avengers was his back to Marvel Comics in 2010. At same year, had works as Fill In Artist on R.E.B.E.L.S. (on DC Comics), and participation at comic book adaptation of MMORPG DCUOnline. Since that, most of your current work have been develop into DC Comics.
In 2020, his graphic novel BATTLESTAR GALACTICA: Counterstrike, with writer John Jackson Miller, was nominated as BEST GRAPHIC NOVEL.
