Transformers Animated Season One In Stores Today

Premiere Season of the All-New AUTOBOT Adventures Debuts on DVD August 19, 2008

Includes a Sneak Peek at Season Two

What's the verdict on this?  Do you enjoy it?  How does it compare to the original.  I have to say I wasn't too crazy about the Transformers Armada cartoon a few years back.  This series clearly has a different style to it.  It shouldn't be too closely compared to the original.  Season 2 is coming soon.

HOLLYWOOD, CALIF. – The high-octane animated series featuring everyone’s favorite “ROBOTS IN DISGUISE” makes its DVD debut when TRANSFORMERS ANIMATED Season One arrives on August 19, 2008 from Paramount Home Entertainment.  The sensational action-adventure series, developed jointly by Cartoon Network and Hasbro, Inc., depicts the epic battle between AUTOBOTS and DECEPTICONS.  Filled with character, humor and heart, TRANSFORMERS ANIMATED follows the AUTOBOTS as they seek to protect the ALLSPARK, their new adopted home Earth, and an 8-year-old girl named Sari Sumdac, who is the keeper of THE KEY, an emergency power supply and healing source for the AUTOBOTS.  While OPTIMUS PRIME and his team are out fighting Earth-bound super villains and basking in their newfound superhero status, the real threat, the DECEPTICONS, are regrouping and preparing to return with a vengeance to get their hands on the ALLSPARK and THE KEY.

The TRANSFORMERS ANIMATED Season One two-disc set includes 13 episodes from the premiere season, as well as a Season Two Photo Gallery sneak peek.
