Justice League: Gods and Monsters Chronicles was launched today by Machinima. The first episode, entitled "Twisted," is the first of three prelude shorts before the July 28th release of the animated feature. This comes from the mind of Bruce Timm, the man behind Batman: The Animated series and a plethora of other animated features, which we interviewed about the project here.
Here's the synopsis for "Twisted."
Set in an alternate universe where Batman is actually Kirk Langstrom, the dark knight pursues a new, more unhinged Harley Quinn.
That was pretty dark and violent, huh? We got some severed heads in a fridge and a Batman who stops the person he's fighting by draining their blood. Let's not forget about the bodies in Harley Quinn's living room.
