"Peter Parker" may not be around at the moment, but there's still a whole lot going on in his universe (or alternate one in Miles' case). Marvel is currently offering quite a few Spidey-related books for your reading pleasure, but this week, we were wondering which one has won you over the most. It was a close race between SUPERIOR SPIDER-MAN and SCARLET SPIDER, but in the end, Kaine came out on top, taking 31% of the votes. See, everyone loves you, Kaine, so stop feeling like you're such a bad dude! Here's the full poll results:

SCARLET SPIDER earned my vote as well. It's a darker and more brutal take on Spider-Man, yet it isn't flooding with depressing and bleak material thanks to co-writers Christopher Yost and Erik Burnham. In fact, the book is often quite fun and hilarious. I mean, we're talking about a book where Kaine fought a group of robbers dressed as Santa, after all! Then there are those glorious Ryan Stegman covers. That alone should be enough to grab anyone's attention. Plus, the fact Yost has established a rather lovable and unique cast of supporting characters doesn't hurt, either. Let's just hope they make it through the latest storyline in one piece...
I'm pleasantly surprised to see SCARLET SPIDER win, especially since it hasn't really had the best sales around. So, if you truly love it, go ahead and scream it from the rooftops and help get the title more attention. The last thing we'd want to see is this book get canceled, especially so soon after VENOM.
