In the original comic story, a superhuman event causes mass destruction and the US government invokes the super-human registration act, which forces all super-powered beings to disclose their identities, powers, and personal information to the government or be put in prison indefinitely. Iron Man becomes a supporter of this bill and Captain America opposes it. Super-powered beings take sides and fight it out, which leads to something major in the contemporary history of Captain America.

Will the film follow that formula? It all really depends to who opposes Captain America. Robert Downey Jr will reprise his role as Tony Stark here, and it was also announced that Chadwick Boseman (42) has been cast as Black Panther and he will have a role in the upcoming film.

Captain America: Civil War will hit theaters on May 6th, 2016
