    Ever Repeating Forms Into Infinity 0

    Phil Coulson and his resurrection was right next there with Skye is “special” in terms of plots that I just did not care about. In both cases, the dramatic thrust was miss calibrated relying upon poorly explained but never the less superfluous macguffin mythology as a means of earning emotional currency instead of using said superfluous macguffinery to inform character.     It's Time to Move On 0

    The long running plot lines in Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (Fitz's relationship with Simmons, Skye's background, etc.) are some of the least compelling long running plots in the show, and Coulson's alien blood memories also falls into that category. So it's both good and bad that "The Writing on the Wall" deals with that plot line. Bad because it feels like it's moving in (no pun intended) circles. But also good because it finally feels like they're getting close to resolving this story lin...
