Zum

Storyline

Zum is a White Martian disguised as a speedster and member of the super hero team, Hyperclan. Hyperclan was really a fraud, whose purpose was to make the Justice League look bad while they prepared and White Martian invasion of earth. Zum battled the Flash at super speed while a part of Hyperclan but was defeated with an Infinite Mass Punch.

Powers & Abilities

Zum has all the abilities of a normal White Martian. In addition, all members of Hyperclan are trained soldiers.

• Super Strength - Zum has vast superhuman strength characteristic of his race. Martians are comparable in strength to the likes of Superman and Wonder Woman
• Invulnerability - Zum, like all martians, also has invulnerability close to that of Superman and other Kryptonians
• Flight - Martians are capable of self propelled flight
• Super Speed - Martians have speed similar to Kryptonians. This speed applies to running, flying, processing thoughts, and reacting. Zum was able to pass Flash while running until Flash drew upon the speed force to run at light speed to knock out Zum. He also displayed combat training for his superspeed; able to create a strobe effect by controlling his after images in order to disorient a pursuing Flash
• Telepathy - All Martians are skilled telepaths, capable of mind reading, illusion casting, mind control, and other mental manipulations.
• Shape-shifting - Martians have a high level of shape shifting ability that stems from complete control over their molecular structure. They can alter their shape, appearance, size, density(to the point where they can move through objects), and even their chemical make up.
• Invisibility - Martians are capable of turning themselves invisible.
• Martian Vision - Zum, like all martians, are granted the ability to project energy from their eyes similar to the Kryptonian "Heat Vision'
• X-ray Vision - J'onn J'onzz described this ability colloquially as ionized particulate matter mapped to a variable density wavepacket. It allows them to see through objects.

Weaknesses

Zum, like all martians, are weakened by fire.
