Thread about probably the most thoroughly explored and most dynamic character in Avatar.

Zuko is probably my least favourite character in the show. He always feels so sorry for himself and treats everyone like crap.

true, but he is improving and becoming one of the most thoroughly explored. and plus, he is so much better of a character then aang.

Such a complex and troubled character, I love it. He reminds me off myself except a lot more angsty lol

Still wish I knew what happened to his mom. Also I wish he actually beat his sister in a one on one fight.

They need to do an Avatar Animated movie to give us a better idea of what the world is like after Aang defeated Fire Lord Ozai during Sozins Comet.

Well yea you can do that kind of thing when there's a solar eclipse and firebending is completely impossible. With no firebending he had the upperhand on Ozai because of his other skills and the fact that he came armed. Still yea it was pretty freakin sweet, and the best part is when Ozai thinks he is going to kill him with the lightning and Zuko just throws it down back at him and completly destroys his throne.

That got me excited too, because do you remember when Iroh taught Zuko how to redirect it? I was like " how did Iroh know that he would need that?" But than again his father was the one that gave him that scar. So maybe Iroh just had that gut feeling.

Well Iroh was always trying to make Zuko decide his own destiny....he knew he would have to face Ozai at some point for a lot of reasons I don't really want to get all into because that'd be time consuming. Anyways redirecting lightning is always a nice skill to have...becides he knew Zuko would need it against Azula as well. If you remember the reason he teaches Zuko how to redirect lighning is actually for him to face Azula. First he tries to teach Zuko how to create lightning but Zuko has too much iner turmoil to successfully create lightning at the time so he at least teaces him how to redirect it so he can defend himself and he says it will give him an upper hand because he (Iroh) invented it and no one else knew the technique.

Zuko is my favorite charactter of Avatar

He is a good character. He has a lot of complexity to him and a lot of depth as a character. Even before he joined thier team you could empathize with him and even root for him.
Also I love the idea that things never come easy to him. Everything he gets he works hard for and he earns. He never was the most talented or skilled but he had a good heart and determination.
I can't even explain all the reason's I like him as a character...strangely I can relate to him.

I like Zuko and Sokka. Iroh and Toph were cool too.  And of course Oppa ruled.

Yea well she was a power hungry perfectionist with no heart and some serious firebending skills. Whats not to hate about her lol.

And yes Appa is the man, or Bison I suppose.
