Zero Kiryu

Origin

Zero is one year older than Yuki Cross. He lived a nice life with his twin brother, Ichiru, and parents who were vampire hunters. But one day, when his Master Toga Yagari left to hunt vampires, he and his brother spotted a vampire. Ichiru did not notice this until Zero told him so, later that night Ichiru gets a fever and sleeps in Zero's bed. Ichiru then goes down to get some water and hears his parents discussing that he will not be fit to become a vampire hunter. So instead of getting some water he heads back up stairs. As he turns the corner on the stairs he see that the window is open and that the Cherry Blossoms are out of season so he decides to investigate. Ichiru then goes outside and see the vampire pure-blood, Shizuka Hio, from before and they start to talk.

The next night however Zero's parents decide to move house again as Ichiru goes for a walk. Zero senses a vampire and rushes outside to see what it is, he sees Shizuka Hio who sneaks up behind Zero and grabs him so there is no escape. Zero's parents come rushing out a few seconds before Shizuka sinks her fangs in...

Later on we see Zero hanging on to Shizuka since he has no more strength to stand up by himself. Lying on the floor are his parents carcuses, covered in blood. Ichiru walks in the room and sees what's going on, Zero warns Shizuka to stay away from Ichiru but Ichiru smiles and leaves. Laving Zero to die in a pond of blood.
We next see Zero and the Headmaster walk into Cross' house with Yuki at the door. Headmaster Cross tells Yuki to give him a bath, since he is overed in blood. Anything Yuki does next she asks Zero if she can do it before she actually does it in fear of him shattering to pieces.

Chapter 1: Cross Academy Night Class

Zero is first seen snatching Kaname's hand off Yuki and basically tells him to shove off. Kaname snickers at this and walks away, after he shouts at al the girls looking at the Night Class Yuki repetitively punches him on the back. The next seen is Zero slamming his hands down on the Headmster's desk about the Night Class and Yuki being useless. But one the Headmaster said "Adorible Son" he broke the Headmaster Cross' desk in half and shouted at him for calling him that. Then the Headmaster started going on about how he wanted vampires and humans to co-exist, Zero just walked out. The next day he is asleep in class and has to take Supplementary classes with Yuki, again.

That night, when they go on patrol, Zero asks Yuki how her "Hero" Kaname is coming along since she is staring at him. Yuki says she wasn't and reports the Night Class are behaving but Zero said he's only going along with the Headmaster's plan so he can find a way of killing the "Beasts in human form" Zero walks away and Yuki spaces out. Yuki spots two Day Class girls taking pictures of the Night Class and investigates but, after hurting herself on a branch, she is also met by Aido Hanabusa and Kain Akutsuki cousins and two Night Class members. Adio grabs Yuki and sucks the blood out of her hand but just before he has too much Zero aims his Bloody Rose Gun at Adio's head. He then takes a waring shot at a tree and Adio releases Yuki. Kaname Kuran then steps in and puts Adio and Kain in there place. After Kaname and the other vampires had left Zero takes of his tie and wraps it around her hand. He walks away saying that the smell of blood makes him sick.

While Yuki is drying her hair Zero walks in and starts to undress, he then sniffs Yuki to see if she still smelt lie blood which she didn't. And as Yuki talks to him he notices how good looking her neck is...

Chapter 2: Zero's Secret

It's the morning of St. Xocolatls day and the Day Class girls are already lining up to give there chocolate to the Night Class guys. One girl was on the shoulders of another and lost her balance, she fell but Zero caught her just in time. Yuki congratulates Zero but Zero warns the girl not to do it again.

Later that day, at around lunch, Zero and Yuki are in the Headmaster's office who is talking to them about St. Xocolatls day and the event that is just about to happen. Zero says to just cancel the event but Headmaster Cross refuses due to there being a riot if it did happen. Headmaster Cross then complements th Night Class and Zero gets angry. Zero then says that it's impossible for vampires and humans to exist together and gets dragged away from the Headmaster by Yuki.

It is then the time where the girls give their chocolates to the boys. Yuki tweets her whistle while Zero just stands there. The Night Class

gates open and they all walk out. Yuki explains the rules to them but  Adio is too eager and goes to his collection post. Yuki is too busy to give Kaname-Sama his chocolate and misses her chance until her chocolate falls out of her pocket. Zero picks it up and throws it to Kaname who catches it in mid-air. Yuki feels embarrassed about it and punches Zero repeatability in the stomach. Yuki then stops Adio from biting a girl but after that she notices that Zero isn't there...

Zero stumbles through the corridors of the Day Class and sees the girl he saved hiding in the corridor waiting for Zero but Zero shouts at her and tells her to go away. Later on the Headmaster looks like a nutter when he's talking to the window but then the curtains move and Zero's behind them. The Headmaster gives him some water and a blood tablet but Zero chucks them away saying never.

Yuki opens the door to the Headmaster's bathroom and finds Zero all wet, she rubs his hair dry and buttons up his shirt. Yuki then gives him the one and only chocolate that she cooked right and forces Zero to eat it. She then spots something on the floor. A blood tablet.

Chapter 3: The Vampire of Vampires

We see a sight into Zero's past as described as above. (The Origin). Yuki is remembering when she and Zero met hen Zero woke her up. He walks out the room and sees Kaname Kuran walking towards him, Zero glares at him but Kaname talks back.

On the roof of Cross Academy Zero is refusing to give in when he gets his gun out and points it at Ruka's neck. Ruka and the rest of the Night Class have come to beat him up, Kain steps in and tries to stop it but gets thrown over Zero's back. Zeros is then ready to fight and cricks his fingers just as Yuki somehow drops in form above and says to stop the fight.  Zero tells Yuki to leave him alone and stomps off.

Zero's will is giving in and he is short of breath, Yuki comes running in shouting for Zero, she runs up towards Zero but Zero grabs her and licks her neck. He then sinks his fangs into Yuki's neck.

Yuki struggles to get free but fails. Finally,  after a few minutes or so, Yuki breaks free. She stares at Zero and asks him why, the only thing Zero can say is, "Yuki, I'm sorry.."

Chapter 4: The Promise...

Zero and Yuki stand apart but stare at eachother, Zero is wiping the blood away from his mouth and Yuki is holding her neck, blocking the flow of blood. Meanwhile, Kaname and the Headmaster are talking when Kaname smells blood. Kaname rushed out of the office and walks up the stairs to find Zero, his mouth blood stained. He pushes Yuki out the way, and Yuki think he will kill Zero just like the vampire who tried to drink her blood when she was little. Yuki stops him and collapses into Zero's arms. Kaname walks over and takes Yuki out of Zero's arms. Kaname asks Zero  "Was her blood so delicous?"  Zero has now relized to the full what he has done. He has drunk someone who is like a sister to him and also someone he loves...

Next we see Zero in his room packing his bag when a picture of him and Yuki drops out of his closet. He look at it and sits on the bed. He gets out the gun the Headmaster gave him, to kill vampires, and puts it to his head. He is ready to pull the trigger when Yuki runs in and stops him. She pins Zero down on the bed and asks him what he was doing. Zero replies with "Nothing."  Yuki then shouts at him but Zero pushes her over and pins her down. He rips off her plaster and says "You heard it too? The sound of your blood being sucked in by me. After such a hair-raising experience...you can't act like nothing has changed."  Zero gets up off the bed and walks out of the room. Yuki sits up and looks at the picture on the floor. She picks up the gun and runs out after Zero.

She shouts at Zero to stop but he doesn't listen, he keeps on walking. Running makes Yuki dizzy so she stops and threatens to shoot Zero if he doesn't stop, Zero walks back to Yuki, takes hold of his Bloody Rose Gun and points it at his neck. He asks Yuki to shoot him but she doesn't so Zero just walks away. Yuki drops the gun and runs after Zero, she grabs hold of him and says that she'll always be on his side. Zero looks up at the moon. But somewhere else someone stabs Zero in a picture, wanting him to die.

Chapter 5: My Dear Girl

Yuki is angery at Zero for not telling her that he was turning into a vampire and asks him what he was going to do when she found him with his gun to his head. They then walk into the Headmaster's office where Headmaster Cross is holding up and admirering Zero's Night Class uniform, Zero gets angry and

slaps the Headmaster on the cheek. The Headmaster then gives Yuki a bracelet that forms a spell with Zero's tattoo. They form the spell, with a drop of Zero's blood, and four mystical daggers come down from the sky and pin Zero to the ground.
The Headmaster then offers for Zero to drink some of his blood, but by then the spell has faded away and Zero punches Headmaster Cross to the floor. He then claims he is being "Sexually Harassed." Zero then starts to drag Yuki away but the Headmaster stops in by saying: "Wait, Kiryu you've forgotten something important." Yuki then leaves the room and Zero has a little talk with the Headmaster.

Next we see Zero  picking Yuki up from the Moon Dorm, Zero hears what Kaname said to Yuki, calling her "My dear girl." Yuki then makes the first mistake by asking Zero why he isn't affected by the sun. Zero replies "I wasn't born this way." Yuki feels embarresed but then Zero congratulates her on being called "My dear girl," by Kaname. Yuki then  feels even more embarassed and blurts out that there is a line that vampires and humans can't cross. Zero agrees and gives him a gun to shot him with when he falls to a Level E. Zero then walks off, leaving Yuki to think about the future...
