I'm amazed that someone would suggest she needs ot change her costume to be taken seriously. A lot of people take Wonder Woman seriously and she's wearing a lot less than Zatanna, and her costume basically looks like underwear. Oh and by her I mean in this instance Wonder

tell u what i hate about zattannas cousin zachary...HIS MAGIC ONLY WORKS ON DOVES they should atleast make a series where he lerarns proper sorcery or something like that!!!

all Magic heros tend to be pushed to the side lines. It's sad because my favorite heroes (dr.s, dr.f, Zatanna/ thor( ok i had him for a while but still....) don't tend to be frontline characters.

I collect female center comic books and I heard about Zantanna. Im thinking about buying a couple of issues but is she worth it?

Her series certainly seems to give her quite a bit.  At least the way characters in it talk her up.

Any DC reader I talk to is always very fond of her.

What I always liked about her in JLA books is she always seemed (unlike most) to have a life outside the whole superhero scene, but to me it was a mysterious life, I've never read her in anything except the League so I could only imagine what strange adventures she was having and what her life was like.

I respected her because the other characters respected her, she was part of the league but independent of the league... like I said, a mysterious figure which is fitting for a magician.

I like the way she is kinda like a goto specialist on magic matters, Batman's got a problem with an occult serial killer vanishing without a trace?

Doubtful. She was in fact trying to explain the difference between an illusion and real magic to Batman. So that wouldn't make sense.

I want to clear something up Zatanna is not more powerful than Superman.

Superman is not weak to Magic he's just has no immunity towards it. He's no more weak to Magic then Batman or any other human.

Zatanna is very powerful and very versatile she can do almost anything with her power. But she lacks speed and durability. She's a glass Cannon well her magic is powerful her body has the same weaknesses as any other human female her age. She's also very slow compared to other superheroes like Superman Wonder Woman and the Flash. it's highly likely that any of these three could one shot her before she managed to get off a spell.

That said I do think that Zatanna is an underrated character. I wish you was made she played more of a role in the DC Universe it'll be nice if she was on both justice league dark and the Justice League why not Batman is both the leader of the bat family and a founding member of the Justice League.
