Yukio is a Ronin (masterless Samurai). She is an ally of the X-Men, specifically Wolverine and Storm. She is part of Professor X's secret network of humans and mutants known as the Mutant Underground.

This sucks.  I really liked Yukio as a character and now she's dead.  I always thought of her as a Japanese version of Domino. 
 
Anyone else annoyed that they killed her off?  It was so quick too; they barely gave any attention to it.  Damn possessed Wolverine.

When did she die??  The last I saw, she was in the Psylocke mini series... and seemed to survive.

She died in Wolverine #2 that came out earlier this month.  She was killed by the possessed Wolverine.
 
That Psylocke mini is definitely one of my favorites.

well, Wolverine is in hell, so I'm sure he'll be meeting Yukio soon.  He's already met quite a few people from his past

Don't bury her yet. Yukio plays an important part in the latest arc of Wolverine comic book.

I especially enjoyed the moment when Melita received the photo of Logan and Yukio in compromising position.
